    摘要: A container may comprise a tubular body having a longitudinal axis and a rounded sidewall; a base portion; a rim portion; a vertical portion defined, in part, by the rounded sidewall, aligned along the longitudinal axis, and extending between the base portion and the rim portion; a plurality of grooves defined within the vertical portion, each of the grooves comprising a width defining opposing sides of each of the plurality of grooves, wherein: each of the plurality of grooves is aligned parallel with the longitudinal axis; the valley of each of the plurality of grooves is radially inset a distance from the vertical portion perimeter; and opposing sides of adjacently positioned ones of the plurality of grooves define a peak that is radially aligned with the vertical portion perimeter. The container may also comprise a set of base transition grooves extending between the base portion and the vertical portion and aligned parallel with the longitudinal axis.

    摘要: A container includes an outlet defining an opening that is in fluid communication with an interior portion of the container, the outlet having a central axis. The container also a neck portion having an upper structural ring lying in a first plane that is substantially perpendicular to the central axis, and a lower structural ring lying in a second plane that is substantially perpendicular to the central axis, wherein the first plane and the second plane being separated by a vertical distance. The neck portion may have a gusset extending between the upper structural ring and the lower structural ring, and the gusset may have a plane of symmetry, wherein the central axis lies in the plane of symmetry. The container further includes a shoulder beneath the neck portion, a waist section beneath the shoulder, and a base beneath the waist section.

    摘要: Various embodiments are directed to a container spout secured relative to a hollow container body. The container spout includes a cap region configured to accept a container cap (e.g., a snap-on cap), and a support region positioned between the cap region and the hollow container body. The support region comprises one or more bumper rolls positioned around an exterior of the support region and one or more support protrusions extending between a bottom edge of the cap region and a bottom edge of the support region, wherein each of the one or more support protrusions defines a substantially horizontal convex curvature having a radius smaller than a radius of the container spout. The support protrusions are aligned with corners of the container, and thereby transfer axial crushing forces applied to the container spout onto the container corners to increase the axial crush resistance of the container.
