    摘要: A method and computer program product for locating data in a system including a plurality of archive units, and answering a query directed to an archive unit. Locating includes broadcasting a query to all the archive units; identifying a set of the archive units that could contain a result for the query; receiving at least one query reply from the archive units; and validating the query reply when the archive unit that sent the query reply is in the set. Answering includes receiving the query; responding to the query when the archive unit could contain a result for the query; and discarding the query without responding when the archive unit could not contain a result for the query.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method for the preparation of arteether from artemisinin in one pot in just about 4 hours comprising reduction of artemisinin into dihydroartemisinin by less quantity of sodium borohydride in ethanol at room temperature in the presence of a novel polyhydroxy catalyst, acylation of dihydroartemisinin in the presence of an acid catalyst, extraction of arteether from an aqueous reaction mixture using 1% ethyl acetate in n-hexane followed by workup and purification of the impure arteether to yield 80-86% (w/w) pure alpha, beta arteether.

    摘要: The invention relates to a process for the isolation of compound scopoletin which is used as nitric oxide synthesis inhibitor from Artemisia annua and other plant families, said process comprising extraction of dried powdered material of different plant parts with an aqueous acetonitrite solvent in the ratio of 1:5 for 6 to 8 hrs., concentration of the extracted solvent upto 30% of its original extract under vacuum, partitioning the concentrated extract with halogenated solvent to transfer scopoletin in the non-polar halogenated solvent, drying halogenated solvent over anhydrous sodium sulphate and evaporating the solvent, crystallizing the residues in methanol and filtering the crystals, concentrating the filtrate and chromatographed on silica gel, eluting scopoletin in chloroform methanol mixture; and crystallization of the fractions containing the scopoletin to get the pure scopoletin compound.
