摘要： A switchable exhaust gas heat exchanger includes an exhaust gas feed line and an exhaust gas discharge for an exhaust gas stream; a first exhaust gas passage and a second exhaust gas passage; a switching valve configured to switch the exhaust gas stream between the first and second exhaust gas passages; and a heat exchanger through which a coolant flows which is arranged in the first exhaust gas passage. The second exhaust gas passage routes the exhaust gas stream past the heat exchanger to the exhaust gas discharge. The switching valve is configured to be switched as a function of the temperature of the coolant and is a proportional control valve. A switching threshold and a switching limit of the coolant determine flow of the exhaust gas stream through the first and second exhaust gas passages.
