摘要： The invention provides a method and an apparatus for performing high-level filtering processes on data prior to the data being stored in the capture buffer, or on data that is currently stored in the capture buffer. In both cases, the amount of data that is ultimately paged from the capture buffer to other storage devices is reduced. In addition, signal analyzer resources, such as data collection probes, for example, can be shared without users having to view data that is not relevant to them.
