摘要： A panel or door suspension system used to hang sliding panels or doors. The panel members are hung by an upper bearing assembly with bearings on each side of the longitudinal axis of the panel thereby allowing the weight of the door to bear wholly on the upper bearings and to act centrally and downwardly between the bearings thereby preventing a moment on the bearings. A wedge member attached to the upper portion of the panel allows for vertical adjustment of the panel relative to the bearings and the door frame. A sill assembly beneath the panel allows for stable sliding operation of the panel member, provides for debris drainage and facilitates servicing of the members comprising the sill assembly.

摘要： A pass-over humidifier for delivering a supply of heated, humidified air through an elongated conduit to a mask worn by a patient. The humidifier is designed for wear by a patient during sleep to treat chronic breathing disorders such as allergic rhinitis. A supply of air is drawn into a humidification chamber by a fan and is passed over the surface of a water reservoir where it picks up moisture. The moisture-laden air is mixed with a stream of relatively dry heated air within the humidifier to form a humidified air stream. The humidified air stream is discharged from the humidifier into the elongate conduit at a temperature within the range of approximately 45-57° C. and at a relative humidity within the range of approximately 25-55%. Since the humidified air is preferably heated to a temperature exceeding 45° C., the humidifier is essentially self-sterilizing. The temperature of the humidified air stream drops significantly as it passes tough the conduit between the humidifier and the mask. By the time the air stream has reached the mask the temperature is preferably within the range of 30-35° (i.e. slightly less than body temperature) and the relative humidity has increased to approximately 90-100%. The humidifier is configured such that temperature drop over the length of the conduit does not result in condensation of water vapor within the conduit upstream from the mask.

摘要： A cable controller is formed by a housing having a cavity into which one end of a handle is received and mounted for a pivotal movement on a pivot pin extending across the housing. The pivot pin is received within a L-shaped slot adjacent to one end and the top of the handle and an abutment is provided projecting outwardly from the bottom of the handle in position to engage the rim of the cavity. A control cable is connected to the handle positioned about midway between the abutment and the slot. The slot and the abutment are positioned so that movement of the handle in a first direction pivots the handle about the pivot pin and extends the cable and movement of the handle in the opposite direction pivots the handle about the point of contact between the abutment and the rim of housing to move the pin along the slot into a short section of the L-shaped slot to thereby extend the cable now lock the handle in a parking position.

摘要： A two piece portable toilet is described. The toilet includes a bowl unit which defines a toilet bowl having a discharge opening, and a reservoir for a flushing liquid, said reservoir having a normally closed filler opening. A holding tank is normally disposed below and supports the bowl unit. The holding tank has a top wall and defines a waste holding chamber having an inlet opening in said top wall for communication with the discharge opening of the toilet bowl. The chamber also has a normally closed outlet opening. The top wall of the tank is contoured to define a depression around the holding chamber inlet opening and, on opposite sides of the depression, surfaces for supporting said bowl unit. Coupling means normally maintain the bowl unit and holding tank in co-operating relationship when the toilet is in use. The coupling means allow the unit and tank to be separated at appropriate times. The toilet also includes pump means communicating with the reservoir in the bowl unit and with the toilet bowl and operable in use to deliver flushing liquid from the reservoir into the bowl. Valve means are also provided for controlling discharge of material from the toilet bowl into the holding chamber. The valve means are disposed in the depression in the top wall of the holding tank and includes a flap-form closure member which is pivotable about an axis generally normal to the axis of the discharge opening of the toilet bowl. The closure member is movable between a position in which the member prevents communication between the discharge opening of the bowl and the waste holding chamber, and a position in which the closure member has pivoted downwardly clear of the opening to allow discharge of material from the toilet bowl into said chamber. A valve operating means is normally disposed below and supports the closure member in its closed position and is retractable to allow the closure member to pivot downwardly about its said axis and allow communication between the discharge opening of the bowl and the inlet of the waste holding chamber.
