Abstract: A system and method for transmitting and receiving data in a communication system are provided, in which upon generation of data of communication services to be transmitted to a receiver, a transmitter classifies the data according to the service types of the communication services, inserts a guard interval between the classified data of the service types, and transmits the data with the guard interval to the receiver.
