Abstract: Described herein are synthetic bait compositions and methods for manufacturing synthetic baits that dissolve instantaneously in aqueous media or over a period of seconds up to about 40 days and attract marine organisms. The synthetic baits utilize chemotactic cues to attract marine organisms.
