摘要： Techniques are provided for a transflective liquid crystal display comprising a plurality of subpixels. Each subpixel comprises a reflective part having a reflective-part cell gap and a transmissive part having a transmissive-part cell gap. A subpixel may comprise minimal perimeters of a first minimal area between the transmissive part and the reflective part. At least one of the one or more minimal perimeters defines one or more edges of a second maximal area of the transmissive part.
