摘要： A cutting head has a mounting bracket for attachment to a pipe and a cutter wheel. A double tapered bearing is connected between the mounting bracket and the cutter wheel. The bearing allows the cutter wheel to be rotated without rotation of the pipe. A drive shaft connector on the cutter wheel is connectable to a pilot hole drive shaft for rotating the cutter wheel and pulling it and the pipe. A pilot hole is drilled in a conventional manner. The pipe is attached to the mounting bracket and an end of the pilot hole drive shaft is then connected to the cutter wheel. Simultaneously the pilot hole is enlarged and the pipe and cutter wheel are pulled along the enlarged hole by the drive shaft. The cutter wheel advances along the pilot hole and the pipe is simultaneously advanced through the enlarged hole immediately behind the cutter wheel.

摘要： A furniture article of improved construction includes a furniture frame having a portion that is receptive of a bracket having a configuration that enables attaching a leg thereto in an adjustable way. Each of the legs that attaches to the furniture frame attaches to a single of the brackets. A plurality of the brackets can be attached to the frame. Each of the brackets has a slot that receives a connector (e.g. internally threaded nut), the connector traveling in the slot between inner and outer positions. A user can select the position of a leg relative to the furniture frame by attaching the leg to the nut using a threaded fastener for example, and sliding the nut and leg relative to the bracket and frame until a selected position is reached. Further tightening of the leg relative to the nut and bracket affixes the position of the leg relative to the article of furniture in the desired position.

摘要： A package for a roll of continuous sheet material is shown having a first hollow circular core on which the sheet material is wound with a tube within the core. The tube is of greater length than the core so that the ends thereof extend beyond the continuous roll. End plates are provided on opposite ends of the roll and are apertured for receiving the extending sections of the tube. The end plates support the roll so that when two of such rolls, with associated apparatus are stacked, the end plates bear any loading force associated with the stacking. The end plates, the core, the tube and the roll of material are secured in a unitary structure by fasteners attached to the opposing ends of the second tube. A hollow covering member open at both ends is placed over the roll. Two hollow members each adapted to form a closure around an end plate at one end thereof are then placed over opposing ends of the roll of sheet material contained on the core and slidably enclose a portion of the hollow covering member open at both ends. The above apparatus has utility for packaging and shipping a roll of continuous sheet material.
