Abstract:
An audio/video recording method and device for recording a main audio/video file and at least one index audio/video file corresponding to the main audio/video file. A section of the index audio/video files can be transformed into text data serving as a portion of file names of the main audio/video file. When a user collates or uses the main audio/video file, the index audio/video file is used to accelerate distinguishing what the main audio/video files are, thereby facilitating searching, classification and management of the main audio/video file effectively.
Abstract:
A method for delineation of characteristic points in an electrocardiogram signal includes the steps of: (a) processing the electrocardiogram signal to obtain at least one multiscale differential operator wavelet transform thereof; and (b) locating at least one characteristic point in at least one wave segment of the electrocardiogram signal based on the at least one multiscale differential operator wavelet transform.
Abstract:
An automatic monitoring and recording device for erythrocyte sedimentation employs a light source and a photodetector to detect the changes of light transmittance at the junction of plasma and red blood cell column. Changes of light transmittance at the junction reflect the descent of red blood cell column. The light source and photodetector pair is arranged so that it will track to the plasma - red blood cell column junction all the way the red blood cells fall. The whole course of erythroctye sedimentation is monitored and recorded automatically by a microcomputer.

Abstract:
A three-dimensional electrocardiogram display method for 3-D representation of a plurality of cardiac signals is provided. In this method, a 3-D rectangular coordinate system is defined to display the 3-D representation of the cardiac signals. Further, an amplitude display scheme, preferably an amplitude-to-color mapping table, is defined to assign various quantization levels of amplitude to specified distinctive colors. By graphic processing and display means, the 3-D representation of the cardiac signals can be generated and displayed. The physicians can choose to observe the 3-D graph in various views, including perspective view, sectional view, and top rectangular view. This allows the physicians to make diagnosis of heart diseases by observing just one or two 3-D representations of the cardiac signals. The physicians can thus have an overall integral view over a plentiful number of cardiac signals and thereby make diagnosis about the heart conditions of the patient more easily.
