    摘要： A video display unit such as a computer monitor or similar device is supported at a selected ergonomically correct height by a pedestal unit having one or more vertically stacked pedestal members, each defined by a generally horizontal plate portion and a depending wall. A peripheral ledge is interposed between the plate portion and the depending wall and the lower distal edge of the depending wall is spaced from an internal set of support gussets for supporting the pedestal members vertically stacked in nested relationship one on the other. Selected ones of the pedestal members have an opening in the side or depending wall portion providing a pocket for storing files, computer disks and other materials at the video display unit site. Opposed parallel inner walls extend from the opening to an opposite side wall to provide a smooth walled pocket for receiving the articles stored therein. The pedestal members are preferably formed of injection molded plastic and are preferably of a square cross sectional shape whereby the storage pockets may be arranged in selected positions with respect to each other.

    摘要： A hair styling comb includes a molded plastic or metal core member including a body part having first and second sets of integrally formed spaced apart comb teeth extending in directions substantially normal to each other. The first set of teeth extends from an elongated spine part of the body and a layer of a resilient friction material is molded over the body part to cover opposed planar surfaces of the body part and to extend within spaces between adjacent teeth of both sets. The overmolded layer provides surfaces between each tooth which are adherent to human hair to facilitate teasing, back combing or ratting hair during a styling procedure. The comb is conveniently mass produceable by molding the core member and then overmolding the resilient high friction coating or material layer.

    摘要： A document holder, adapted for use at a computer workstation or word processor, includes an easel supported by spaced apart support arms. The easel and the support arms are connected to each other at respective pivot connections to provide for angular adjustment of the easel with respect to the arms. The easel includes a first member connected to the support arms and a second member which is movable relative to the first member in a downward direction or a direction toward an operator of the document holder. The first and second easel members include respective retainer and support rail parts provided with detents for selectively locking the second easel member in a selected working position with respect to the first easel member. A third easel member is supported on the first easel member for extension in a direction opposite that of the second easel member.

    摘要： A document holder for use in supporting documents in a ergonomically correct position with respect to a video display screen and a keyboard of a computer workstation, word processor and the like. The document holder includes a generally upright transparent easel supported on a bracket for vertical adjustment with respect to the bracket. The easel support bracket is mounted on a support rail and is laterally slidable from side-to-side for positioning the easel in a selected horizontal position along a line substantially parallel to the plane of the video display screen. The easel support bracket rail member is mounted on spaced apart pivot brackets for pivoting the easel about an axis parallel to the lateral slide axis. The support brackets are mounted on trunnions disposed on opposed support arms which, in turn, are mounted on a pedestal member for sliding movement to selected working positions of the easel toward and away from the display screen and along an axis generally normal to the display screen. The support arms are supported on rail members which may be detachably connected to a pedestal member forming part of a pedestal having plural stackable pedestal members. The easel support pedestal member may be selectively positioned in the pedestal stack to also adjust the height of the document holder. Thus, the document holder is positionable along three mutually perpendicular axes and may be rotated about one of the axes to place the easel in a selected working position.
