Each tooth comprises a root portion extending away from the comb's main body and a further tooth portion extending away from the root portion, the further portion being spaced from and generally parallel to the comb's main body. The array of teeth may extend from substantially the whole length of the comb's main body, with the body having a channel shape with side flanges so it may be attached to the back of a hairdresser's traditional tail comb.

摘要： The present invention is a comb that includes curved or angular teeth placed perpendicular to a cylindrical handle in a straight or helical path. It can be drawn through a lock of hair to create a ringlet curl that hangs free from the scalp. It may optionally include a second row of teeth, or an individual tooth, that incorporates additional strands of hair into the curl. The comb may include an extension that smoothes hair over the teeth. In operation one uses the comb to dress wet or dry hair. The first row of curved teeth is applied to the hair at the root, and drawn through the hair with a rotating motion that is consistent with the direction of the curve of the comb's teeth resulting in a ringlet curl that hangs free from the head.

摘要： A hair brush for multi-purpose hair styling and hair grooming. The hair brush includes a brush housing having an outer stationary frame section having short bristles thereon and an inner movable frame section having long bristles thereon; and a handle section attached to one end of the brush housing. A plurality of connecting springs are used for movably connecting the inner movable frame section to the outer stationary frame section. A slide button member is used for pushing the inner movable frame section from a first position to a second position. The inner movable frame section is movable between the first position and the second position to repeatedly move the inner movable frame section in a forward and reverse direction relative to the outer stationary frame section such that the long bristles operate to move the user's hair laterally relative to the direction of movement.

摘要： A hair styling comb includes a molded plastic or metal core member including a body part having first and second sets of integrally formed spaced apart comb teeth extending in directions substantially normal to each other. The first set of teeth extends from an elongated spine part of the body and a layer of a resilient friction material is molded over the body part to cover opposed planar surfaces of the body part and to extend within spaces between adjacent teeth of both sets. The overmolded layer provides surfaces between each tooth which are adherent to human hair to facilitate teasing, back combing or ratting hair during a styling procedure. The comb is conveniently mass produceable by molding the core member and then overmolding the resilient high friction coating or material layer.
