摘要: The invention relates to method of manufacturing a recess wall lined with bristles for a mouthpiece for simultaneously brushing at a plurality of dental positions, and to a recess wall and mouthpiece manufactured according to the method. In a providing step, an elongate, continuous, bristled sheet part having a first side lined with a plurality of bristles is provided. The elongate sheet part defines a length axis extending parallel to the sheet part and, viewed transverse to the length axis, a cross-sectional shape. The sheet part obtained in the providing step has an initial condition in which the cross-sectional shape has an initial shape, and the length axis is arch-shaped. In a transforming step, the sheet part of the providing step is transformed from the initial condition to a final condition to provide the recess wall. In the final condition the cross-sectional shape has a final U-shape, the length axis is arch shaped, and the first side is a concave inner side of the final U-shape. The first side is in the final condition more concave than in the initial condition.

摘要: The invention relates to a dentifrice dispenser for dispensing a dentifrice onto a J-shaped or U-shaped mouthpiece configured for simultaneously encompassing and cleaning a plurality of dental positions with the dispensed dentifrice and with cleaning elements provided on or in the mouthpiece. The dispenser comprises a dispenser duct work having an inlet and a manifold. The manifold comprises a multiple of outlet openings configured for dispensing dentifrice. The duct work is configured for passing dentifrice from the inlet to the outlet openings. The outlet openings are distributed along a J-shaped or U-shaped curvature and debouch towards and/or along the curvature, which matches at least part of a dental arch such that the outlet openings can dispense dentifrice simultaneously on a multiple of locations along the curvature, the multiple of locations corresponding to the multiple of outlet openings.

摘要: The present invention relates to the manufacturing of a bristled pad for a mouthpiece toothbrush, a bristled pad, the manufacturing of a mouthpiece toothbrush with such a bristled pad, and a mouthpiece toothbrush. The bristled pad is manufactured from a prefabricated foil and prefabricated bristles. The prefabricated bristles are attached to the prefabricated pliable foil of at most 700 μm by fusing the fixed ends of the bristles with the foil. In the method of manufacturing the mouthpiece, the bristled pad is attached to the body of the mouthpiece.

摘要: A mouthpiece for a dental cleaning device comprises a supporting structure configured to encompass a plurality of teeth of a dental arch. The supporting structure has an inner surface facing a tooth surface. At least one brushing chamber is provided at the inner surface side. The brushing chamber comprises a flexible wall part being deformable by pressurizing or depressurizing the brushing chamber. Bristles extend externally from the flexible wall part. In a method of brushing teeth, a plurality of teeth is encompassed by the mouthpiece, and the at least one brushing chamber is alternatingly pressurized and depressurized.

The J-/U-shaped mouthpiece may comprise a multiple of trough sections and be flexible to ride along a dental arch and has its handle coupling at the anterior end of the mouthpiece.

摘要: A dental cleaning device for simultaneously brushing at a plurality of dental positions. The dental cleaning device includes: a mouthpiece having a pressure chamber for containing a fluid under pressure; a pump unit arranged in fluid communication with said pressure chamber and configured to reciprocatingly increase and decrease a pressure in the pressure chamber; a pressure sensor configured to measure a pressure in the pressure chamber and to produce a pressure signal; and a controller configured to generate a control signal. The controller is configured to generate the control signal in dependence on the pressure signal and the pump unit is configured to provide a delivery into and/or out of the pressure chamber in response to the control signal. The controller is configured to reduce the delivery of the pump unit when the pressure in the pressure chamber exceeds a predetermined upper threshold.
