摘要: A plastic item, such as a beverage bottle, conveys two distinct digital watermarks, encoded using two distinct signaling protocols. A first, printed label watermark conveys a retailing payload, including a Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) used by a point-of-sale scanner in a retail store to identify and price the item when presented for checkout. A second, plastic texture watermark conveys a recycling payload, including data identifying the composition of the plastic. The use of two different signaling protocols assures that a point-of-sale scanner will not spend its limited time and computational resources working to decode the recycling watermark, which lacks the data needed for retail checkout. In some embodiments, a recycling apparatus makes advantageous use of both types of watermarks to identify the plastic composition of the item (e.g., relating GTIN to plastic type using an associated database), thereby increasing the fraction of items that are correctly identified for sorting and recycling. 摘要: A stretched polyester film and a method for preparing the stretched polyester film are disclosed. The stretched polyester film contains a polyester resin in which a diol component and a dicarboxylic acid component are polymerized, wherein the heat shrinkage rate of the film at 80° C. in the main shrinkage direction is 40% or more, and, upon a first thermal treatment and a second thermal treatment, a first melting temperature (Tm1) and a second melting temperature (Tm2) appear when the film is analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The stretched polyester film has excellent heat shrinkability, along with an increased efficiency of a recycling process of waste plastic containers.

摘要: The invention provides a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film, where the heat-shrinkage ratio in the width direction is high and the irregularity of thickness is small. The heat-shrinkable polyester-based film of the present invention contains 90 mol % or more of ethylene terephthalate unit based on 100 mol % of whole ester unit, wherein, the heat-shrinkable polyester-based film satisfies the requirements: (1) heat-shrinkage ratio in a width direction measured by shrinking the film for 10 seconds in 90° C. hot water is 50%-75%, (2) heat-shrinkage ratio in a longitudinal direction measured by shrinking the film for 10 seconds in 90° C. hot water is −6% or more and 14% or less, (3) heat-shrinkage ratio in the longitudinal direction measured by shrinking the film for 10 seconds in 70° C. hot water is −6% or more and 6% or less, and (4) irregularity of thickness in the width direction is 1%-20%.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a process for producing bi-axially oriented polyester (BOPET) film from the recycled polyethylene terephthalate (RPET) granules. The process involves preparing recycled PET (RPET) granules form post-consumer recycled PET (PCR PET) by depolymerization and polycondensation followed by preparing the biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BOPET) film having recycled polyethylene terephthalate (RPET) up to 100%. The bi-axially oriented polyester film has good elongation, mechanical and/or thermal properties and are similar in quality to virgin PET films useful in high end food and pharma packaging and industrial applications.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to an exterior composite board comprising a core formed from polymeric material and a filler. The core may be an elongated member or other relevant shape for a construction material. An opaque tie layer is disposed on at least one surface of the core. An optional primer and/or optional textured layer may be disposed on the tie layer. The optional textured layer has surface features defined by varying depth. The optional primer layer and/or optional textured layer are digitally printed on the previous layer. Next, a color layer is disposed on the optional primer layer or optional textured layer, or if no optional primer or optional textured layer is present, directly on the tie layer. The color layer, which may comprise up to four different individually applied layers, is digitally printed on the optional primer layer, optional textured layer, or tie layer. The outermost layer disposed on the color layer is the protective layer.

The standing surface defines a standing plane, and the entire pressure panel is located between the standing plane and the upper portion of the container when the pressure panel is in the outwardly-inclined position.
