Abstract:
An exercise device comprises a frame, including a pair of arcuate rails having a central curved portion, a first end, and a second end. The pair of rails are disposed in fixed parallel relation with one another with a first end member interconnecting the first ends of the rails and a second end member interconnecting the second ends of the rails. The exercise device further comprises a platform operatively connected to the frame for supporting a person thereon. The device may be oriented in various orientations including: 1) a rocking orientation wherein the curved portions of the pair of rails abut a surface on which the device is placed such that the device may move in a rocking motion relative to the surface and 2) a stationary orientation wherein the first end member and the second end member abut the surface on which the device is placed such that the device is stationary relative to the surface.
Abstract:
A container assembly comprises a first member defining an interior containment space and having an access opening thereto, a second member dimensioned to encompass said first member, and a third member that interconnects said first member and said second member. The first and third members are connected along a first axis such that the first member is rotatable about the first axis relative to the third member. The second and third members are connected along a second axis such that the third member is rotatable about the second axis relative to the second member. The first axis is generally orthogonal to the second axis.
Abstract:
A writing instrument for use by a grader comprises an elongate, tubular housing, a writing component secured within the housing and operative to make marks on a surface, and a calculation assembly comprised of electronic components. The calculation assembly is retained within the housing and includes a plurality of data entry devices for entering data used to calculate a grade, the data entry devices being accessible by the grader through an exterior surface of the housing; a processing device programmed to receive data from the plurality of data entry devices and calculate the grade based on the entered data by performing division; and a display component for displaying to the grader the grade calculated by the processing device. A method of grading comprises using the writing instrument.
Abstract:
A game includes a game board, a paper shredder; and a plurality of shreddable cards having various visually-identifiable indicia. The game board, the paper shredder and the shreddable cards are arranged in a box. A method of playing the game includes shredding a first of the plurality of cards; receiving, by a player, the shredded pieces of the first card; attempting to identify the visually-identifiable indicia depicted on a first side of the first card; and controlling game play, on the game board, based on the success of the step of attempting to identify the visually-identifiable indicia depicted on the first card.
Abstract:
Securing an arrangement of loose elements on a scrapbooking page includes: positioning a scrapbooking page on top of a work surface; positioning loose elements of a scrapbooking page on top of the scrapbooking page; and magnetically securing the loose elements to the work surface with the scrapbooking page disposed therebetween such that the draft scrapbooking page may then be moved and stored with the work surface without disturbing the particular arrangement of the loose elements on the scrapbooking page. The work surface may include a generally rectangular shape and may be dimensioned such that it is slightly larger than a scrapbooking page. A loose element is secured to the work surface by a magnetic member that is positioned over the loose element. The particular arrangement of loose elements on the scrapbooking page are magnetically secured such that the particular arrangement is undisturbed by moving and storing of the work surface.
Abstract:
A cutting board assembly comprises a cutting board; a first container including a bottom, opposite side walls, and opposite end walls, with the opposite side walls and opposite end walls extending from a periphery of the bottom to define a holding area wherein food items may be retained; and a frame including opposite side walls and a support platform from which the side walls extend. The cutting board is retained upon the support platform. The frame is configured to receive and retain therein the first container such that the first container is movable between a retracted position, in which the first container is substantially disposed interior to the frame and the holding area thereof is substantially covered, and a protracted position, in which the first container is substantially disposed exterior to the frame and the holding area of the container is at least partially uncovered.
Abstract:
A travel cooler includes a base, a handle attached to the base at a first location, a plurality of wheels mounted to the base for rolling movement of the base by the handle, and an insulated container having sidewalls supported by the base and defining an interior, insulated space for receiving and preserving perishable food items. The handle is removably attached to the base such that the handle is detachable and removable from the base. The base is configured to receive and retain the handle at a second location when the handle is detached from the base at the first location. The handle generally extends upwardly from the base when attached to the base at the first location and generally extends horizontally relative to the base when attached at the second location.
Abstract:
A baby bag that is convertible to a baby carrier includes a base that is movable between a folded configuration for storage and transport of the baby bag, and an unfolded configuration for receiving a baby. In an embodiment, a harness is connected to the base for restraining a baby received upon the base such that a back of the baby is maintained in close proximity to the base. In the same or another embodiment, a shoulder strap is attached to the base for suspension of the base, whereby a baby received upon the base may be carried by a person utilizing the shoulder strap.
Abstract:
