摘要： Architecture for providing feedback to a viewer and/or contributor on fashion and other personal appearance decisions that the contributor desires. The contributor uploads self images for viewing and rating (or voting) by viewers who choose provide an opinion on different fashion and/or cosmetic looks of the contributor. The contributor takes images show the contributor presented with a number (e.g., two) of different fashion choices. The snapshots can then be processed for upload to a website or other accessible location by one or more viewers. The viewers can cast a vote for one of the images by selecting the desired image, in response to which the viewer and/or contributor will be presented with overall statistics for that set of images as to how other viewers voted, as well as a next set of photos depicting the user in a different fashion and/or cosmetic choice. This process can continue until terminated.

摘要： The disclosed architecture enables user feedback in the form of gestures, and optionally, voice signals, of one or more users, to interact with a search engine framework. For example, document relevance, document ranking, and output of the search engine can be modified based on the capture and interpretation of physical gestures of a user. The recognition of a specific gesture is detected based on the physical location and movement of the joints of a user. The architecture captures emotive responses while navigating the voice-driven and gesture-driven interface, and indicates that appropriate feedback has been captured. The feedback can be used to alter the search query, personalize the response using the feedback collected through the search/browsing session, modifying result ranking, navigation of the user interface, modification of the entire result page, etc., among many others.

A reference point for an online document that a user or user agent is interested in accessing is identified, comprising a stored prior version of the document. The prior version of the document is retrieved, when the user or user agent accesses the online document, such as by using the reference point. Elements of the prior version are compared with elements of a current version of the document, to determine whether there are differences between the versions. If changes are identified between the prior version and the current version, the current version is automatically updated with visual or auditory representations that identify those changes of content.

摘要： Various embodiments can provide helpful information to a user who is looking for a particular point of interest. In at least some embodiments, first and second searches are conducted. The first search uses a local search provider and produces results which describe one or more points of interest relative to a location, such as a user's current location. Each point of interest can be associated with a destination location to which the user would like to travel. The second search uses a so-called transit route provider and utilizes the results of the first search to plan a transit route between the location and one or more of the respective destination locations.
