摘要： A coated sheet material made by: (a) coating a porous substrate sheet material with a barrier coating composition comprising (i) a cross-linkable polymer resistant to penetration by water moisture, and (ii) a water-dispersible film-forming polymer that is resistant to penetration by grease and oil, said barrier coating composition forming a barrier layer on said substrate sheet material; and (b) coating said barrier layer with a release coating composition. The coated sheet material is useful in forming articles and food wrappers for use in conventional or microwave ovens. The invention includes methods of making articles from the coated sheet materials.

摘要： This invention relates to an economical coating composition for porous substrates that provides extremely glossy surfaces, is capable of supporting holographic images, provides good oxygen barrier properties as well as good oil, grease, solvent and water resistance. Said coatings on paper substrates are printable, biodegradable, recyclable, and repulpable. They are also suitable for use in conjunction with food products. This invention also relates to a process for applying said coatings onto porous substrates as well as a process for the economical production of inexpensive holographic images on substrates such as paper and cardboard containers.

摘要： A coated sheet material made by : (a) coating a porous substrate sheet material with a barrier coating composition comprising (i) a cross-linkable polymer resistant to penetration by water moisture, and (ii) a water-dispersible film-forming polymer that is resistant to penetration by grease and oil, said barrier coating composition forming a barrier layer on said substrate sheet material; and (b) coating said barrier layer with a release coating composition wherein the cross-linkable polymer and the water-dispersible film-forming polymer are different.
