    摘要: A current-limiting circuit, which limits an electrical current from a voltage source to a consumer to a predetermined maximum current. At least one measuring resistor (110) is connected in a current lead (14) between a circuit input (12) and a circuit output (16). At least two current control elements (100, 100′; 106, 106′) are connected in series to the at least one measuring resistor (110), each of these elements having a voltage-dependent control unit (100, 100′; 116, 116′) allocated to it. Each control unit (100, 100′; 116, 116′) is connected to a voltage tap (112, 114; 112′, 114′) that is allocated to it and taps a voltage drop across the one measuring resistor (110), such that the plurality of voltage taps (112, 114; 112′ 114′), which are allocated respectively to the various control units (100, 100′; 106, 106′), tap the voltage drop across the one measuring resistor (110).

    摘要: The invention relates to an electronic balance for use in an explosive environment. The invention calls for an intrinsically safe cable (1) which contains data lines in addition to the voltage supply lines. The data is serially transferred on the data lines. A first conversion unit is housed in the housing of a power pack which conversion unit receives the data arriving serially via the cable (1), converts it into parallel data and stores it so that it can be passed on in a parallel and asynchronous manner in the non-explosive area, that a second conversion unit is housed in the housing of the power pack which second conversion unit stores the data arriving in parallel manner from the non-explosive area, converts it into serial data and sends it serially via the cable (1) into the explosive area, and that the control unit (3) also contains at least a first conversion unit which receives the data arriving serially via the cable (1), converts it into parallel data, stores it and passes it on in parallel manner to the evaluation unit. The control unit contains at least one second conversion unit which stores the data arriving in parallel manner from the evaluation unit, converts it into serial data and sends it serially via the cable (1).

A shunt regulator (116) of the circuit has an anode, a reference input and a cathode, wherein the cathode is connected to the base of the transistor (106), and the anode and the reference input form a voltage tap across the measuring resistor (110). An additional, high-ohmic current path extends in parallel to the transistor (106) and includes a component connected reverse-biased having a diode characteristic and an auxiliary measuring resistor (120b), wherein the auxiliary measuring resistor (120b) is integrated in the voltage tap.
