摘要： An online application enables an end user to navigate to a web site, upload digital images, and to combine those images with words in a stylized template to create a user-generated story. A story is a web page, typically a collection of photos and words that are brought together by a stylized template that can be customized by the end user. Preferably, a given story is available from the site at a given location (at a URL) that may be private or public. A given story may be shared with other end users, published to other web sites or web logs, or maintained solely for one's own use. The invention also provides for multiple end users to collaborate to create a “shared” story.

摘要： An embodiment of the invention comprises a method and apparatus for resolving textual references into numerical addresses. One exemplary method comprises obtaining a multi-part textual reference associated with a name resolution server. The multipart textual reference comprises at least a first host domain reference and a first resource location reference. The method further comprises parsing said multi-part textual reference to dynamically generate a multi-part canonical name. The name comprises a first part comprising a second resource location reference, and a second part comprising a second host domain name. The method further comprises resolving the canonical name into a numerical address.

摘要： The organic pollutants in a waste water stream can be reduced 90-95% by providing oxygen to sludge organisms for biological oxygenation of the pollutants. The raw waste water and activated organisms (sludge containing little or no pollutants) are mixed in a vessel for less than 30 minutes. In this vessel, the organisms absorb and adsorb 90-95% of the organic pollutants present in the influent raw waste water. Any means for gentle agitation can be used in this vessel. The waste-enriched organisms are separated from the supernatant liquid in a clarifier and sent to an oxygenation vessel where the organisms metabolize the waste by treatment with an oxygen-containing gas having at least 30% by volume oxygen. The thus-activated organisms are returned to the mixed liquor vessel to complete the cycle.
