    摘要: A sealing compound for use in production of a liquid crystal display unit, comprises isobornyl(meth)acrylate, epoxy acrylate, a photopolymerizable initiator, epoxy resin having one or more polymerizable groups in one molecule, a latent thermosetting agent obtained by pretreating imidazole compounds, adducts of imidazole compounds and carboxylate of imidazole compounds, and/or adducts of imidazole compounds and epoxy resin with isocyanate compounds. The sealing compound is applicable particularly for sealing liquid crystal in between substrates of the liquid crystal display unit, and can secure the electrode substrates without misregistration of the substrates and uneven separation of the substrates.

    摘要: A method is provided for controlling an electric power pump type power steering system. In this method, there are provided a brushless motor (1) rotating, when a current is fed to coils, for driving a hydraulic pump of an automotive vehicle, thereby obtaining an assist power; a plurality of upper transistors (Q1) connected to the coils of the brushless motor with a control voltage being higher than a drive voltage of the brushless motor; a plurality of lower transistors (Q2) connected to a connection point between the coils of the brushless motor and the plurality of transistors and connected to each other; a controller (6) for selectively turning on one transistor out of the plurality of upper transistors in order and repeating an operation of selectively turning on one transistor other than the transistor connected to the upper transistor which has been turned on, out of the plurality of the lower transistors, thereby feeding the current to the coils for respective phases of the brushless motor; and a capacitor (C1), connected at one terminal to a power source and at the other terminal to each connection point between the upper and lower transistors and the coils, for accumulating a drive energy therein. When the upper transistor is turned off, the other terminal of the capacitor is set at a ground potential so that the drive energy of the upper transistor is accumulated in the capacitor.

    摘要: A vehicle power steering system for controlling an assist force which supplementally supports the steering operation, includes a motor for producing the assist force, a battery for supplying a current to the motor, a speed sensor for detecting a vehicle speed, a steering-wheel angle sensor for detecting an angle of a steering wheel, a circuit for adjusting the current fed from the battery to the motor according to the vehicle speed detected by the speed sensor and the angle of the steering-wheel detected by the steering-wheel angle sensor, a booster inserted in a current feed path to the motor for boosting a battery voltage of the battery to apply a boosted voltage to the motor. The vehicle power steering system further may include a boosted-voltage stabilizer for controlling the boosted voltage to a predetermined value through an operation of monitoring the boosted voltage. The vehicle power steering system further may include a boosted-voltage decreasing unit for decreasing the boosted voltage according to the drop rate of the battery voltage when the boosted-voltage decreasing unit detects that the boosted voltage is smaller than a first predetermined value through the operation of monitoring the voltage of the battery.

An onboard main battery comprises a main battery which is onboard an electrically driven vehicle and which is constructed as a high tension d.c. voltage source delivering a high voltage on the order of 96 to 600V. The battery is directly connected to the motor, and a controller is connected therebetween to provide a pulse width modulated variable voltage signal to the motor from the battery.
