A mobile Internet access point is disclosed that connects a wireless LAN terminal to a mobile Internet. The mobile Internet access point includes: a plurality of mobile Internet access units, a wireless LAN access unit, and a converting unit. The mobile Internet access units communicate with one or more base stations, respectively, and are connected to a mobile Internet. The wireless LAN access unit is connected to one or more wireless LAN terminals that can be connected to a wireless LAN and manages connected wireless LAN terminals. The converting unit converts wireless data, received by the wireless LAN access unit, into mobile Internet data following the protocol of the mobile Internet. The converting unit also converts mobile Internet data, received via the plurality of mobile Internet access units, into wireless LAN data following the protocol of the wireless LAN. Therefore, although one of the mobile Internet access units does not work, the remaining mobile Internet access units can continue communicating with the base stations, thereby providing services to the wireless LAN terminal without interruption.

A method provides a technique to implement a circuit for duplexing a clock board that is applicable to all circuit elements within a base station which is synchronized by using a clock. More particularly, the method duplexes a clock board which is embodied to supply a stable clock in a CDMA (code division multiple access) System in such a manner that in case an active board is mounted/dismounted or its hardware is reset, a protection circuit logic is implemented for a board in standby mode (“a standby board”) to receive information of an Opponent board. This is so that a clock break during changing the board can be prevented by using the previously received information and the traditional complicated hardware circuits can be simplified by employing an EPLD (electrically programmable logic device).

A method and apparatus for forward and reverse power control in a mobile telecommunication system, wherein the transfer of power control data between a multi-mode demodulator board assembly and multi-user modulator board assembly installed in a base station is implemented on the basis of an independent power control bus, resulting in the occurrence of no time delay during the power control data transfer. Therefore, a mobile station is reduced in power loss, thereby enhancing the quality of speech.
