Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) reliability enhancement. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a processor of a UE receives, from a BS associated with a first TRP and a second TRP, a first message for configuring a PUCCH resource to be used by the UE to perform a PUCCH transmission with the BS. In this case, the first message indicates a first configuration corresponding to the first TRP and the first configuration comprises at least one power control parameter associated with the first TRP. The message further indicates a second configuration corresponding to the second TRP and the second configuration comprises at least one power control parameter associated with the second TRP. The processor performs the PUCCH transmission with the BS via the first and second TRPs based on the first message. In this way, the reliability and robustness of the PUCCH transmission for multiple TRP is enhanced.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for uplink power control. One method includes: receiving a message that configures a set of resources that each includes a downlink resource or an uplink sounding resource and is associated with an uplink transmission beam pattern; receiving scheduling information for an uplink transmission that is associated with a resource of the set of resources; determining an uplink transmission beam pattern associated with the resource; determining a configured maximum output power for the uplink transmission beam pattern that is based on an antenna array property associated with the uplink transmission beam pattern; determining a transmit power for the uplink transmission based on the configured maximum output power; and performing the uplink transmission using the uplink transmission beam pattern based on the transmit power.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for indications of CLPC reset are described. An apparatus is configured to receive, from a network node, a MAC-CE or DCI that includes an indication of closed loop power control (CLPC) reset information. The apparatus is also configured to reset or maintain a CLPC adjustment state in response to receiving the indication of the CLPC reset information in the MAC-CE or the DCI. Another apparatus is configured to receive, from a network node, information for CLPC at the UE, where the information for CLPC indicates that a CLPC adjustment state is unaffected during a configuration for OLPC or a random-access at the UE. The other apparatus is also configured to maintain the CLPC adjustment state at the UE, during OLPC configuring or a random-access procedure at the UE, based on the information for CLPC received from the network node.

Abstract: Aspects relate to supporting power control for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmissions on an uplink secondary component carrier (SCC) of a wireless communication system. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) receives a power control configuration from a base station for use by the UE for a PUCCH transmission on a selected uplink SCC. The UE then transmits, based at least in part on the power control configuration, the PUCCH to the base station on the selected uplink SCC. Closed-loop and open-loop power control examples are provided. In some aspects, common or shared power control configurations are provided by the base station for use with each component carrier of a PUCCH group. In other aspects, carrier-specific power control configurations are provided by the base station.
