    摘要: To adequately maintain recyclability of a railcar bodyshell while improving the appearance, manufacturing accuracy, and producibility of the railcar bodyshell. A railcar bodyshell includes: a metal side outside plate 2 having openings 2b to 2d; a plurality of metal horizontal frame members 3 joined to an inner surface of the side outside plate 2 and extending in a railcar front-rear direction; a plurality of metal vertical frame members 4 joined to the inner surface of the side outside plate 2 and extending in a railcar upper-lower direction; and carbon fiber reinforced resin members 5A to 5D each joined to a predetermined portion on the inner surface of the side outside plate 2, the predetermined portion including a corner portion of each of peripheral portions 2f to 2h respectively defining openings 2b to 2d or a part of a portion between the vertical frame members 4.
