摘要: Devices, systems, and methods of improving paste flow during the manufacture of wind turbine blades are provided. When the first turbine blade half is aligned with the second turbine blade half, a gap is formed between the first shell and the bond cap. The assembly includes a first mold half corresponding to the first turbine blade half and a second mold half corresponding to the second turbine blade half. When the first mold is aligned with the second mold, a second gap is formed. A first barrier is disposed within the first gap and a second barrier disposed within the second gap thereby fluidly sealing a volume defined by the first gap and the second gap to direct adhesive paste flow along the blade span between the adjoining leading and trailing edges.

摘要: A laminated iron core includes laminated iron core pieces, in which coupling parts are formed so as to communicate in a lamination direction of the laminated iron core pieces, and the coupling parts are filled with resins. The laminated iron core satisfies the following formula: (T×S)/η>{(4×E×δ×w×t3)/L3}×n, where T is a strength (N/mm2) of the resin; S is a cross-sectional area (mm2) of the coupling part or the resin; E is a Young's modulus (N/mm2) of the strip material; δ is a distortion amount (mm) of the iron core piece; w is a width (mm) of the iron core piece in a radial direction; t is a plate thickness (mm) of the iron core piece; n is the number of laminated iron core pieces; L is a distance (mm) between the coupling parts adjacent in the circumferential direction; and η is a safety factor.

摘要: The invention offers a separation membrane element that can be produced by a method in which a membrane-sealing portion is formed by, first, immersing end portions of hollow-fiber-shaped porous separation membranes in a resinous liquid and, then, curing the resin, that has a feature in that the membrane-sealing portion is formed of a casting resin and pores of the hollow-fiber-shaped porous separation membranes are filled with a pore-filling resin at the portion at which the membranes are in contact with the membrane-sealing portion, so that the casting resin is strongly bonded with the pore-filling resin, and that has the hollow-fiber-shaped porous separation membranes whose basal portions are flexible, so that breakage of the basal portions and leakage of gas or liquid are less likely to occur when in use; a separation membrane element that has a feature in that in the membrane-sealing portion, at least the surface at a side that is to be in contact with a liquid to be treated is formed of a thermosetting fluororesin, so that the membrane-sealing portion has excellent chemical resistance comparable to that of the conventional membrane-sealing portion formed of a thermoplastic fluororesin; separation membrane modules having these separation membrane elements as constituting elements; and a method of producing the separation membrane element.

摘要: A method is disclosed for forming corrosion-resistant joints in a plurality of overlapping thin metal sheet workpieces, at least one of which comprises at least 85% by weight of magnesium sheets. The fastener is a fiber-reinforced polymer rod shaped and sized for insertion into a coaxial opening formed in each sheet and subsequently upset on each end to form a head. The workpiece sheets are deformed to form mechanically-interfering features which cooperatively complement the strength of the fastener, under at least some joint loading patterns. The method may be used for other workpiece and fastener compositions.

摘要: A wire harness includes a plurality of cables arranged in parallel, and a connector including a housing to which end portions of the plurality of cables are connected. Air-tightness between an air-tight block and the cables is maintained by inserting a melting member into cable insertion holes through a first insertion part, vibrating the melting member and pressing the melting member against a first press receiving part formed at an inner wall surface of the cable insertion holes such that a front end portion of the melting member in contact with the first press receiving part is melted into a melt resin to allow the melt resin to be poured into a gap between the cables and the air-tight block and a periphery of the cables to be covered with the melt resin.
