摘要: The present disclosure provides an apparatus and method for detecting a foreign object in a wireless power transmitting system. The wireless power transmitting apparatus measures an initial transmission power transmitted from the primary core block and performs foreign object detection on the basis of the initial transmission power, once it is found that an initial voltage of an output terminal of the wireless power receiving apparatus connected to an external load is within the range of a reference voltage. By performing foreign object detection while a wireless power receiving apparatus is in an initial setting completion state, before the output of the wireless power receiving apparatus is turned on, delay in detecting foreign objects may be reduced, and a risk due to heating of a foreign object may be avoided.

摘要: A wireless power transmission device, and a transmission power control method therefor are provided. A wireless power transmission device for wirelessly transmitting power to a wireless power receiving device can comprise: a primary core comprising at least one primary coil and transmitting a power signal to the wireless power receiving device by being coupled, through magnetic induction or magnetic resonance, to a secondary core provided at the wireless power receiving device; an inverter connected to the primary core so as to apply an alternating voltage necessary for transmitting the power signal; and a controller connected to the inverter, and controlling a direct voltage to be applied to the wireless power transmission device and/or a gate voltage of the inverter on the basis of the information on the power received at the wireless power receiving device by the power signal.

摘要: A non-contact power reception apparatus is provided, in which a power reception coil for a charging system and a loop antenna for an electronic settlement system are mounted on a battery pack and a cover case of a portable terminal such that the power reception coil is arranged in the center thereof and the loop antenna is disposed outside the power reception coil, so that a mode of receiving a wireless power signal and a mode of transmitting and receiving data are selectively performed, thereby preventing interference from harmonic components and enabling non-contact charging and electronic settlement using a single portable terminal. A jig for fabricating a core to be mounted to the non-contact power reception apparatus is provided.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for wireless power transmission. A wireless power receiving apparatus may be configured to combine power from multiple wireless power signals. In some implementations, the wireless power receiving apparatus may combine wireless power received from multiple secondary coils to provide a combined wireless power signal to a load, such as a battery charger or electronic device. In some implementations, each set of primary coil and secondary coil may utilize low power wireless power signals (such as 15 Watts or less) in accordance with a wireless charging standard. By combining power from multiple low power wireless power signals, the wireless power receiving apparatus may support higher power requirements of an electronic device. The disclosed designs may minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) and provide greater efficiency of wireless power transfer.
