摘要: The present invention is directed to a battery management system for managing one or more second-life battery packs. The system comprises one or more buffer modules. Each buffer module is configured for coupling to a corresponding battery pack. Each buffer module is operatively configured to determine a type of battery pack upon detection of the corresponding battery pack being coupled thereto. Each buffer module includes a battery pack controller for controlling charge and discharge cycles for each battery pack based on the type of battery pack as determined by the corresponding buffer module. Each buffer module includes a bi-directional DC to DC converter for converting a voltage input from the corresponding battery pack to a predetermined system output voltage.

摘要: A state calibration method and apparatus for a low-voltage battery. The low-voltage battery includes at least one cell. The method includes controlling the low-voltage battery to discharge at a first discharge rate until voltage of at least one cell in the low-voltage battery is not greater than a first voltage threshold; controlling the low-voltage battery to charge at a first charge rate until voltage of at least one cell in the low-voltage battery is not less than a second voltage threshold; obtaining a quantity of charge charged into the low-voltage battery; and obtaining a state of health value of each cell based on the quantity of charge charged into the low-voltage battery and calibrating a state of health value of the low-voltage battery based on the state of health value of each cell.

摘要: A system for a real time programming of a battery agnostic Battery Management System (BMS) including a processor of a BMS programming server node connected to a controller over a network and configured to host a machine learning (ML) module and a memory on which are stored machine-readable instructions that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: receive sensory data from a sensor array attached to a battery module having a BMS coupled to the controller; parse the sensory data to derive a plurality of features; query a local BMS database to retrieve local historical BMS data collected from the battery module; generate a feature vector based on the plurality of features and the historical BMS data; and provide the feature vector to the ML module for generating a predictive model configured to output a BMS programming parameter for re-programming of the BMS.

摘要: A charger for a vehicle includes a power factor correction (PFC) stage to convert AC input power to DC power; an inverter stage; and a transformer having first, second, and OBC coils, each being magnetically coupled for transmitting power therebetween. The OBC coil is connected to the inverter stage, a high-voltage (HV) power converter is connected to the first coil to charge an HV battery connected thereto, and a low-voltage (LV) power converter is connected to the second coil to charge an LV battery connected thereto. The charger is operable in an onboard charger (OBC) mode to transfer the input power to charge the HV battery from the AC input power. The charger is also operable in a DC-DC mode to transfer power from the HV battery to the LV battery, and a wireless power transfer (WPT) mode to receive power from a transceiver coil for charging the HV battery.

摘要: This application discloses a multi-battery power supply, a charging/discharging method, and an electronic device. A power supply circuit includes a first circuit, a second circuit, a first switch, a second switch, a first battery, and a second battery. When the first switch is off, a first controlled terminal of the second switch is electrically connected to a second controlled terminal of the second switch, and when the first circuit is on, the first circuit and the second circuit are configured to supply power to two batteries. When the first switch is on, the first controlled terminal of the second switch is electrically connected to the third controlled terminal of the second switch, and when the first circuit is off, both the batteries supply power to the outside through the second circuit.

摘要: A method is provided for controlling a discharge of a battery pack that supplies power to a portable electronic device. The battery pack has one or more cell blocks each having a plurality of battery cells connected in parallel. The method includes the following steps. Determining, for each of the one or more cell blocks, a value of a first supply current flowing through a first battery cell that has the smallest capacity among the plurality of battery cells. Comparing, for each of the one or more cell blocks, the value of the first supply current with a first overcurrent value of the first battery cell to detect overcurrent in the first battery cell. Generating, in response to detecting the overcurrent in the first battery cell of any of the one or more cell blocks, a first overcurrent signal to reduce the power supplied to the portable electronic device.
