摘要： A bucket arrangement for an earthworking machine is provided with a cutting edge plate which is bowed outwardly and has a serrated leading edge such that a center tooth assembly is disposed in a plane of engagement with the soil ahead of and below the plane of engagement of a pair of side tooth assemblies. Thus, the center tooth makes penetrating engagement with the soil prior to the side teeth, providing the bucket arrangement with greater penetrating ability. The ability of the bucket to cut or slice through the soil is also enhanced by the serrated portions of the cutting edge plate.

摘要： A lubricating system for a mechanism having a rotatable shaft supported in a housing by bearings. The lubrication system includes an open-ended axially extending fluid passage defined by the shaft, a fluid conduit defined by the housing, and a disc-shaped fluid diverter for fluidically joining the fluid passage in the shaft with the fluid conduit in the housing. The fluid diverter is arranged at the open-end of the shaft and includes a concentric hollow pilot portion extending at least partially, within the fluid passage in the shaft. The fluid diverter defines a series of open-ended channels which radially extend from and are joined in fluid communication with the hollow pilot portion. At least one port extends from the channel to direct lubrication toward the bearings supporting the shaft. Annular seals provided at the radial edges of the disc-shaped fluid diverter facilitate fluid flow between the channels in the diverter and the fluid passage in the housing.

摘要： A quick coupler for manually coupling a tool, such as a bucket, to an earth working machine. The latching mechanism of the quick coupler includes a pair of mounting plates, each having a pair of openings therein, affixed between two laterally spaced plates of the coupler, wherein one of the mounting plates include threaded openings therein. A latch bar which is slidably mounted between the plates. A pair of fasteners extending from the latch bar, wherein the fasteners include a first and second threaded region, separated by a non-threaded region. The threaded regions of the fasteners threadedly engage the threaded openings of the one mounting plate, while the non-threaded region bypasses the opening.
