Abstract: In order to improve a chin rest for a musical instrument having a chin support and a holding device for holding the chin support on the musical instrument, with the holding device comprising at least one clamping element which is adjustable for clamping the chin support to the musical instrument in a clamping direction, such that it is easy and safe to use, it is proposed that the chin support be provided with an insertion guide for the at least one clamping element, and that the insertion guide be arranged and designed such that the inserting direction is at an incline to the clamping direction.

Abstract: In a metronome, a toothed wheel and a bell drum each comprise toothings facing each other, by means of which the toothed wheel and the bell drum are in positive engagement with each other in defined angular positions. The toothed wheel and the bell drum are axially displaceable relative to each other on the toothed wheel shaft in order to release their positive engagement and to alter their angular position. Abstract: A tuning peg for a stringed musical instrument is provided in accordance with the present invention having a shank with a first area which forms a string supporting area and at least one additional area which forms a mounting area for fixing the tuning peg to the stringed musical instrument. The first area is rotatable relative to the at least one additional area. A first gear wheel is connected non-rotatably to the first area.
