摘要： A backshell construction for an electrical connector which allows multiple cable exits, multiple cable exit directions and multiple cable sizes. A conductive ferrule having a fixed size clamp portion is utilized as an adaptor for different size cables. The backshell is constructed of a pair of duplicate hermaphroditic conductive bodies wherein the rear and side walls may have one or more cable cutouts with engagement structure for gripping the ferrule on each of the cables.
