摘要： A safety cabinet is disclosed which includes an enclosure having a double-walled construction and a pair of doors to selectively seal the enclosure. The safety cabinet includes a lock bar and a pair of retaining arms that permit the lock bar to be set across the front of the safety cabinet, thereby preventing the safety cabinet doors from being opened. The lock bar may be locked in place at both ends to the retaining arms by use of removable locks. When locked in place, the lock bar protects the safety cabinet from accidental or unauthorized opening. The enclosure is mounted on top of a base that contains two forklift pockets designed to accommodate the fork of a forklift. An indicator is disposed on the safety cabinet for, among other things, making the safety cabinet easy to locate and indicating the nature of the contents stored in the safety cabinet, especially in situations where the safety cabinet is located in a room where there is smoke or low light.

摘要： Disclosed is a one-piece spill station with integral support for an intermediate bulk container (IBC). Connected to and surrounding the periphery of a bottom wall is a containment wall that rises generally vertically. One or more support columns rise from the bottom wall and are topped with bearing areas that accept the weight of an IBC. The IBC bearing areas are located high enough above the top edge of the containment wall to allow a forklift to place an IBC onto the bearing areas. The bottom wall, containment wall, and support columns define a spill containment reservoir. For additional strength and rigidity, ribs are molded into the containment wall and into the walls of the support columns. In an embodiment of the invention, the support columns are strengthened either by making them larger at their bases than at their IBC bearing areas or by curving their walls.

摘要： A receptacle for storing waste containing oil. The receptacle includes a container, having a body defining a storage area and a base having ventilation openings, a cover, and a lift assembly for moving the cover over a range of travel between a closed position and an open position. The lift mechanism includes a pivotable pedal, which is provided at the base of the receptacle body, a rotating drive, which is rotatably mounted to the base such that its ends extend therefrom with one end operably arranged with the pedal and the other end pivotally mounted to a lift member. The drive is rotatable in two opposing directions with the lift rod connected to the drive such that the lift member is either moving in a lift direction or a lowering direction when the drive is so rotating. The lift member having one end pivotally mounted to the second end of the drive and another end pivotally mounted to a hinged bracket. One part of the bracket is mounted to the receptacle and the other part of the bracket is mounted to the cover. The lift rod is connected to the portion of the hinged bracket that is also connected to the cover so that movement of the lift rod pivots the cover. The cover is movable between an open position and a closed position in response to movement of the pedal.
