摘要： An adjustment mechanism of nursery equipment includes a string connecting a fixed portion and a movable portion, a reel that is rotatable in both forward and reverse directions and that changes the position or shape of the movable portion by winding up and feeding out the string, a biasing member that biases the reel in such a way that the reel rotates in a winding direction of the string, and a lock member that prohibits rotation of the reel. A biasing force of the biasing member is selected to be smaller than a biasing force with which the movable portion tends to move downward in the vertical direction.

The winch reel systems can include a one-way winch reel, a two-way winch reel, a multi-cord winch reel, and/or a drawstring winch reel. The winch reel systems can be included in various child containment devices, including strollers, infant rockers, children's car seats, playards, infant swings, baby carriers, bouncers, jumpers, high chairs, play mats, baby gates, children's booster seats, and/or other types of infant carrier or containment systems and devices. Each winch reel system can include one or more wires that are engaged with a winch reel in order to adjust at least one feature of a child containment device. In other embodiments, the one or more wires can be replaced with one or more lines, cables, or straps. In some embodiments, each winch reel system can include at least one toothed pawl to engage the winch reel.

摘要： The convertible child high-chair and step stool can include a frame having a front leg stand and a rear leg stand. A height adjustment mechanism can be coupled to the front leg stand or the rear leg stand and can be adjustable along the vertical axis of the front leg stand or the rear leg stand from a raised position to a lowered position. The apparatus can also include a booster seat and removable platform step. In the raised position, the booster seat can be coupled to the height adjustment mechanism to provide a high chair.
