摘要： A drive mechanism for the window of a motor vehicle includes a carriage having the window affixed thereto and a carrier attached to the carriage with a drive cable having the carrier fastened in driven engagement therewith. A guide tube made of plastic material surrounds the drive cable and a support tube surrounds the guide tube. Both the support tube and the guide tube are formed with a longitudinal slot through which a portion of the carrier may extend in order to effect the driven engagement between the drive cable and the carrier.
