    摘要: A self-reacting center wheel nut assembly includes a reaction ring (120) formed between a center wheel nut (110) and a lock collar assembly (130). The self-reacting center wheel nut assembly may also include a washer (140) and O-rings. The self-reacting center wheel nut assembly improves and simplifies wheel bolt tightening; uses the lock collar assembly as a reaction point by transferring opposing torque generated during installation and removal through the reaction ring, which is reacted on by a dual sleeved drive assembly; may be used with HYTORC electric battery powered torque multiplier gun/tools to deliver quick, accurate and precise torque; eliminates the need for external reaction points such as the rim or ground, thereby eliminating side loads and damage to the wheel; is fully sealed and lubricated; eliminates vehicle movement and the need to lock the brakes; reduces operator fatigue, chances of injury and saves operator time and energy.

    摘要: An offset drive link assembly for transmission and multiplication of torque from a power tool for tightening or loosening a threaded fastener includes: a drive force input assembly having a drive force input engagement to receive a first turning force from the device acting in a first direction; a drive force output assembly operatively engageable with the drive force input engagement, having a drive force output engagement to transfer the first turning force to the fastener; and a reaction force assembly having a reaction force input engagement to receive a second turning force from the device in a second direction and a reaction force output engagement to transfer the second turning force to a stationary object.Advantageously the offset drive link assembly: allows access to previously unreachable fasteners due to, for example protruding threads, limited clearances and obstructions; makes practical previously unusable devices driven either electrically, hydraulically, manually and/or pneumatically; makes feasible previously unusable advanced materials, such as, for example aircraft-grade aluminum; creates modular components, such as, for example hex-reducing and -increasing drive bushings, male to female drive adaptors, to meet bolting application characteristics; yields accurate and customizable torque multiplication; tames drive force and reaction force application; overcomes corrosion, thread and facial deformation; avoids bolt thread galling; nullifies side load; ensures balanced bolt load for symmetrical joint compression; simplifies link and tool use; minimizes risk of operator error; and maximizes bolting safety.

    摘要: A low clearance hydraulic torque tool for tightening or loosening fasteners has an apparatus to transfer torque formed within a link drive means between a first and a second side plate. The apparatus includes: a drive plate having piston engagement means at a first end and a machined face gear with radial serrations at a second end; a ratchet drive having a machined face gear with corresponding radial serrations at a first end and a threaded fastener engagement means at a second end; and a wave spring formed between the drive plate and one of the side plates of the torque tool. The side plates of the link drive means are tapered from a first end, adjacent piston engagement means, to a second end, adjacent the threaded fastener engagement means, such that the width of the link drive means at the second end is substantially thinner than the width of the link drive means at the first end.

Such tools include: a drive input and output assembly; a turning force multiplication assembly; a dual drive output and reaction assembly; and a yoke-style shifting assembly for any torque mode from lower and/or higher resistance and/or speed. A preferred embodiment includes an electric motor of the drive input and output assembly powered by a battery pack.
