摘要： A fishing reel has a frame. A first cover assembly is affixed to a first side of the frame. A second cover assembly is affixed to a second side of the frame. At least one of the first cover assembly and the second cover assembly define at least one opening for receiving a panel member. The cover assemblies define supporting structure that is preferably made of a metal. The panel member defines non-supporting structure that is preferably made up of non-metallic structure such as plastic polymer and carbon fiber. The panel member may be transparent and is preferably replaceable to allow a user to customize the appearance of the reel.

In particular, the plasticizer composition for polyvinyl chloride resin includes the novel compound, 2-(2-(2-(2-ethylhexanoyloxy)ethoxy)ethoxy)ethyl 2-ethylhexanoate, and 2-(2-(2-phenylcarbonyloxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethyl benzoate in a proper mixture ratio. A polyvinyl chloride prepared using the plasticizer composition has low heating loss, excellent adhesion, high plasticization efficiency, high elongation, high tensile strength, and high transparency.

摘要： An improved fishing reel of the type having a reel frame, a line-carrying spool rotatably mounted relative to the frame, a crankshaft rotatably mounted relative to the frame, a driving gear rotatably mounted relative to the crankshaft and selectively responsive to rotation of the crankshaft to drive the spool, and a drag mechanism for frictionally engaging the driving gear and causing the driving gear to slippingly follow rotation of the crankshaft. The drag mechanism includes a drag washer mounted to the crankshaft and axially slidable thereon, the drag washer selectively frictionally engaging the driving gear, a link keyed to the crankshaft for rotation therewith and axially slidable thereon, the link being keyed to the drag washer, a clutch sleeve mounted to the crankshaft and axially slidable thereon, the clutch sleeve being keyed to the link, and a drag input structure operably mounted on the crankshaft for inputting a drag force to the clutch sleeve, whereby the drag force is transferred from the clutch sleeve to the link to the drag washer and applied to the driving gear to thereby cause the driving gear to be slippingly held to the crankshaft for rotation with the crankshaft.

The crank assembly has a first element that is capable of being driven in rotation to effect operation of a fishing reel, a crank handle for imparting a rotational drive force to the first element, a securing element that is repositionable relative to the crank handle and first element between a first position and a second position, and a retainer element that is capable of being press fit into and maintained in an operative position relative to the crank handle and first element wherein the retainer element prevents the securing element from moving from the second position into the first position. The crank handle is mountable to and separable from the first element with the securing element in the first position. The securing element maintains the crank handle mounted to the first element with the securing element in the second position.
