摘要： A climbing jack is disclosed, wherein the jack comprises a jack column, and two climbing jack sections, connected by a hydraulic cylinder or a pair of hydraulic cylinders. The jack sections climb along the jack column in a crab-style fashion. Each jack section has at least one pawl which has an axle which extends substantially transversely of the longitudinal axis of the jack column. The pawl has two ends which are adapted by being pivoted about the pawl axle to move either end into biased contact with the jack column, and to thereby engage receiving apertures or projections along the jack column. The pawl ends are biased by opposed biasing springs which selectively bias either one of the ends of the pawl towards the jack column.The climbing jack of the present invention is particularly suited for use in apparatus for progressively constructing a wall of cementitious material, wherein the jack column is periodically raised with respect to the jack sections, and wherein during alternate periods of time, the jack sections are raised along the jack column, thereby raising formwork sections attached to the jack sections.

摘要： Apparatus for progressively constructing a wall of cementitious material, including means for supporting a formwork support structure on a lower foundation, or completed wall section, by means of hydraulic jacks each including a hydraulic ram assembly carrying the formwork support structure and adapted to climb up a vertically extending jack tube, raising said formwork support structure by said jacks to a higher pouring position, supporting said formwork support structure on the lower foundation, or wall section, by auxiliary support means, raising the jack tubes for each jack through its associated ram assembly, moving a formwork section on the outside of the wall toward a formwork section on the inside of said wall to provide a cavity for the receipt of cementitious material, pouring a quantity of said material into said space between said formwork sections, the lower foundation, or completed wall section, and the lower ends of the jack tubes, allowing said cementitious material to solidify, and moving the outer formwork section away from the wall and disengaging the inner formwork section, with said formwork support structure being supported on said jacks.

摘要： A container handling apparatus utilising a cradle (1) having a chassis (2) adapted specifically for attachment to the top of the shipping container (C) and having lifting legs (3) attached to each corner of the chassis and incorporating lifting rams. The legs are pivotably attached at pivot points to the respective corners whereby to be swung between positions extending alongside the chassis in a stored orientation and positions extending downwardly from the chassis in a ground engaging orientation. The pivotable attachments for said lifting legs are such that the positions of the legs can be extended and retracted laterally of the chassis, whilst in the lower ends of said legs carry wheels (8) for mobility whereby the cradle with the legs extending downwardly from the chassis in a ground engaging orientation with, or without, a container suspended beneath said chassis, can be moved from one position to another. The pivotable attachments of the lifting legs to said chassis are such that the lateral movement of said legs, and their pivotable movement, relative to said chassis is accomplished simultaneously, or independently. The corners of the chassis have means (16) for attachment thereof to the top corners of said container and the chassis has recesses (32) extending longitudinally thereof between the means for attaching the chassis, and on each side thereof, for accommodating the legs when in the stored orientation.

摘要： A mobile transporter for use in transporting equipment during the construction of a building, said transport comprising a lower section supported on ground engaging means for movement thereon, a mast supported within the lower section for vertical movement relative to the lower section, with an upper frame supported on the upper end of the mast. The lower end of the mast carries a ground engaging support structure, and hydraulic lifting means are interconnected between the mast and support structure arrangement and the lower section for lowering and raising the mast and support structure between a position wherein the lower section is supported on the ground engaging means and a position whereby the support structure is moved to a ground engaging position for subsequently lifting the lower section and its ground engaging means off the ground whereby the lower section is supported on the support structure. Drives are provided to rotate the most relative to the lower section and to shift a horizontally movable carriage at the top of the most horizontally and vertically.
