    摘要: A mobile gantry for transporting heavy loads includes first, second, and third booms which are supported on the ground by respective wheel sets. The booms are spaced from one another so to present a generally triangular configuration when viewed from above. First, second, and third lift legs telescope to extend and retract the booms, and the lift legs are interconnected to one another and can raise and lower a load. The load can be maintained level by individually adjusting the length of each boom by extending and retracting the lift legs. A pivot axle, attached to each one of the wheel sets, allows each of the wheel sets to pivot about an axis that is at least generally parallel to the ground, thus maintaining a uniform load while the mobile gantry encounters changes in slope or other surface irregularities.

    摘要: An advancing unit for positioning a current collector unit having at least one extension, which is guided in a fastening unit so that the extension can be moved linearly and which has a cavity, open on a longitudinal side extending in the advancing direction and the inner surface of which forms a contact surface for guiding elements arranged on the fastening unit. A flexible band is arranged on the extension. One section of the flexible band at least partially covers the open longitudinal side of the cavity along a section protruding from the fastening device, and another section of the flexible band is located in a reservoir. A first end of the band is connected to the fastening unit or to an end of the extension and the second end is supported on a tensioning device under a tensile stress in the longitudinal direction, which tensioning device, in the event of a motion of the extension by means of which the protruding section is shortened or lengthened, pulls the band into the reservoir or outputs the band from the reservoir by the same length and at the same velocity.

The method includes the steps of enabling synchronization of first and second hoists and first and second trolleys and choosing a hoist function or a trolley function. The first and second hoists are a first mover and second mover, if the hoist function is selected. The first and second trolleys are the first and second movers, if the trolley function is selected. The method includes the steps of commanding one of the first mover and second mover to be the master and the other to be the slave and actuating a master control associated with the master. The method further includes the step of outputting signals to the first and second actuators such that the master and the slave are moved in a direction indicated by the master control.
