摘要: A machine accesses first results of a first analysis performed by a first version of a first analytical tool on sequenced data of a genetic sample. A second analytical tool is to process results of the first analytical tool. The machine determines that a second analysis is to be performed by a second version of the first analytical tool upon the sequenced data of the genetic sample. A third analytical tool into which second results of the second analytical tool are to be inputted specifies a minimum version of the first analytical tool, and the determining that the second analysis is to be performed may be based on the first version failing to satisfy the minimum version, the second version satisfying the minimum version, or both. The machine then causes the second analysis to be performed by the second version of the first analytical tool on the sequenced data.

摘要: Systems and methods herein provide for identifying phenotypes that impact disease progression for carriers of genetic variants. One method includes identifying, from a larger population of gene sequences, a first plurality of gene sequences of probands having a genetic variant that is susceptible to contracting a primary phenotype. For each of a plurality of interacting phenotypes, the method includes identifying, from the first plurality of gene sequences, a second plurality of gene sequences of probands having the interacting phenotype, determining a difference between an odds ratio indicating a likelihood of probands having the primary phenotype for the second plurality of gene sequences and an odds ratio indicating a likelihood of probands having the primary phenotype for the first plurality of gene sequences, and selecting the interacting phenotype based on the difference. The method also includes identifying a risk of contracting the primary phenotype for each of the selected interacting phenotypes.

摘要: A genomic update system can generate a user interface from network pages based on user variant data and network services associated with the network pages. A trait data structure tracks network services for different trait categories. A given network page of a given category can be used to identify a different category and different network services and content for display to a user. Content in the trait data structure can be included in a user interface with additional contextual visualizations that allow the user to interact with the links and content via a user device, such as a handheld mobile device.

摘要: Various embodiments disclosed relate to a method of quality control for a biological sample. The method can include receiving genetic data sequenced from the biological sample, determining whether an endogenous control is apparent in the genetic data, and in the event that the endogenous control is apparent in the genetic data, determining whether the biological sample is contaminated. The genetic data can be analyzed for sequences from both pathogen genetic material and mitochondrial genetic material. The endogenous control can be determined based on whether at least a threshold amount of the genetic data includes sequences for the mitochondrial genetic material.
