    摘要: This invention is intended to lower a temperature of a high-temperature exhaust gas to a desired temperature, while effectively suppressing adhesion of melting components and dusts in the high-temperature exhaust gas onto an inner wall of a cooling tower. For this purpose, a method of the present invention comprises an introduction step of introducing a high-temperature exhaust gas into a cooling tower through a gas duct, and a cooling step of sparging cooling water to the high-temperature exhaust gas in the cooling tower to cool the high-temperature exhaust gas. During the introduction step, the high-temperature exhaust gas is introduced into the cooling tower through the gas duct comprising two gas duct lines, in such a manner that respective portions of the high-temperature exhaust gas from the two gas duct lines become equal to each other in flow velocity and flow volume. Further, respective axes of the two gas duct lines are arranged so as to extend in directions opposed to each other and approximately orthogonal to an axis of the cooling tower, when viewed from a direction along the axis of the cooling tower.

An oxygen-containing gas supply unit (5) is provided in the vicinity of the lower edge of the vertical wall (2) which divides the exhaust zone (3a) from the other zone spaces (3).     摘要: The present invention provides a method capable of producing good hot-briquette iron using high-temperature reduced iron discharged at a high temperature from a reducing furnace such as a rotary hearth furnace. The method includes a temperature control step of cooling the high-temperature reduced iron and controlling the temperature of the reduced iron to an appropriate hot-forming temperature of over 600° C. and 750° C. or less, and a step of producing hot briquette iron by hot-forming the high-temperature reduced iron of the appropriate hot-forming temperature with a briquetting machine. The temperature control step includes substantially horizontally holding a rotating drum having a feed blade spirally provided on the inner periphery thereof, charging the high-temperature reduced iron in the rotating drum and passing it through the rotating drum by rotating the rotating drum while maintaining the inside of the rotating drum in a non-oxidizing atmosphere with inert gas, and cooling the outer peripheral surface of the rotating drum by contact with a cooling fluid during the passage of the high-temperature reduced iron through the rotating drum to indirectly cool the reduced iron so that the temperature of the reduced iron is the appropriate hot-forming temperature.

    摘要: A method of dusting-preventive treatment in which a powder having dusting property is treated with fibril-forming PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) to impart non-dusting property thereto and the non-dusting property of the powder, after having been reduced during transportation, are economically and advantageously recovered or improved through a relatively simple step. The method comprises: a first dusting-preventive treatment step in which fibril-forming polytetrafluoroethylene is added to a powder having dusting property, and a compression/shear force is exerted to the mixture at a temperature in the range of 20 to 200° C. to thereby regulate powder so as to have a flow value of 150 mm to 200 mm; and a second dusting-preventive treatment step in which a compression/shear force is exerted again at a temperature in the range of 50 to 150° C., without newly adding fibril-forming polytetrafluoroethylene, to the resultant powder after the powder treated in the first step has deteriorated in dusting-preventive property during transportation with transporting means due to such an external force that the polytetrafluoroethylene fibrils partly cleave or powder particles partly fall off polytetrafluoroethylene fibril nets.
