    摘要: A method for detecting a node of a server device includes the following steps. When a node performing a boot procedure at a server slot is detected, a serial number of the node and a slot ID of the server slot are obtained. Then, a step is performed to determine whether the serial number exists in a first data row of a comparison list, and whether the first data row is corresponding to the slot ID. When the first data row is not corresponding to the slot ID, a data address recorded in the first data row is moved to a second data row corresponding to the slot ID. When not existing in the first data row, the serial number is used to update a third data row corresponding to the slot ID, and the data pointed by a data address recorded in the third data row are deleted.

    摘要: A virtual hard disk drive includes at least one test transmission interface and a processing unit, wherein the test transmission interface is used for electrically connecting with the processing unit. The test transmission interface can electrically connect with a transmission interface under test of a computer. The processing unit includes an obtaining module and a simulation module. When an access instruction is received through the test transmission interface from the transmission interface under test of the computer, the obtaining module obtains a number of accessed blocks from the access instruction. The simulation module simulates a step of accessing a set of accessed data with the number of accessed blocks with respect to the transmission interface under test via the test transmission interface.

    摘要: A power control system of a server system is described. The power control system includes a plurality of server motherboards, a power supply and a micro controller. Each server motherboard comprises a BIOS, a power switch and a baseboard management controller (BMC), wherein each power switch is operable to selectively switch on or switch off a power supplying of each corresponding server motherboard, and each BMC is operable to output a status order in response to a control information of each corresponding BIOS. The power supply is electrically connected to all the power switches of all the server motherboards and operable to supply power to all the server motherboards. The micro controller is electrically connected to all the BMCs and operable to order the power switches to selectively switch on or switch off a power supplying of each corresponding server motherboard in response to the status order.

The chassis management system includes at least one server unit, a first control unit, a second control unit, and a system management bus. The system management bus connects the first control unit and the second control unit to the server unit, so as to enable the first control unit and the second control unit to manage operating conditions of the server unit. One of the first control unit and the second control unit sends a request to search for a master controller. If, within a predetermined period of time the system management bus fails to indicate a master controller address on the system management bus in response to the request, then one of the first control unit and the second control unit is configured to function as the master controller, conversely one of the first control unit and the second control unit is configured to function as the slave controller.
