摘要： A system and method for accessing multimedia items using an electronic device determines a set of first level categories based on multimedia items associated with the electronic device. The system determines second level category graphics and first level category graphics corresponding to the set of first level categories. The first level category graphics are generated based on one or more second level category graphics associated with the first level category. The system displays a first view that comprises some or all of the first level category graphics. In response to a user input selecting a particular first level category graphic, the system shows a second view that simultaneously displays first level category graphics and second level category graphics associated with the selected first level category. In response to a user input selecting a second level category, the system displays accesses a multimedia item associated with the selected second level category.

摘要： The invention is directed to a method for operating a portable device. The portable device comprises a touch screen displaying a plurality of objects. The method comprises steps of receiving a touch signal through a contacted location on the touch screen to select one of the objects corresponding to the contacted location, wherein the touch signal is correspondent with a continued pressing motion and a dragging motion following the continued pressing motion on the touch screen. According to the continued pressing motion, at least a button corresponding to an operating function is displayed on the touch screen. When the dragging motion is towards to the button corresponding to the operating function, the operating function is executed on the selected object.

摘要： Methods and systems for interface management are provided. First, a plurality of interfaces arranged in sequence is provided. The interfaces are placed in a circle across a 3D space to form a 3D object, and the interfaces include pages or menus. Then, a signal is received, and in response to the signal, the position of the 3D object viewed on a screen of the electronic device are adjusted, wherein the 3D object is located at a virtual distance behind and away from the screen, and the virtual distance are gradually varied.

摘要： Methods and systems for interface management are provided. First, at least one interface is provided and displayed on a screen of the electronic device. The interface is a page or a menu. A plurality of candidate tilt interface images corresponding to the interface are provided, wherein the respective candidate tilt interface images correspond to the interface which is to be rotated at various angles. Then, a signal including a movement of an object continuously detected on the screen is received. In response to the signal, one of the candidate tilt interface images is selected as a specific tilt interface image according to a distance corresponding to the movement of the object on the screen, and the specific tilt interface image is displayed on the screen.

In the present method, positioning information of a mobile device is detected, and weather information of the current location of the mobile device is inquired. Then, a weather type is determined according to the weather information, and a weather type image corresponding to the weather type is displayed on a screen of the mobile device. Finally, a corresponding weather condition animation is determined according to the weather type and the weather information and played on a background of the screen.
