Abstract:
Disclosed is an uplink synchronization method of a base station according to the present invention includes receiving an initial access signal from a terminal; obtaining an uplink synchronization using the received initial access signal; informing the terminal about obtainment of the uplink synchronization; and receiving a data signal from the terminal. According to the present invention, a marine wireless communication system may efficiently perform uplink synchronization between the base station and the terminal, and may efficiently operate wireless resources.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for detecting a GCL sequence using a magnitude and a sign of a real part of a I/FDFT output except an imaginary part in a wireless communication system. The apparatus includes: a modified inverse/forward discrete fourier transform (I/FDFT) processing unit for enabling that the GCL sequence class u is detected with only a real part; a real value selecting unit for selecting real parts from the output of the I/FDFT processing unit; and a maximum value detecting unit for detecting a maximum value among magnitudes of the selected real parts having a positive sign from the real value selecting unit.
Abstract:
A data communication apparatus according to the present invention includes a channel determination unit for determining frequency channels to be monitored on the basis of a current location of the ship station, a performance measurement unit for measuring channel performance for each of the determined frequency channels, a channel selection unit for selecting one frequency channel from among the determined frequency channels on the basis of the measured channel performance, and a data communication unit for performing data communication with the coast station using the selected frequency channel.
Abstract:
Provided is an auto gain control method in a digital communication system. The auto gain control method checks a distribution of a signal and a distribution of a signal envelope during a regular check interval, and determines a state of a current gain value from the distribution of the signal and the distribution of the signal envelope which are obtained through the checking of the distribution. The auto gain control method controls a gain value for auto gain control according to the determined state of the current gain value.
