    摘要: An intervertebral implant with a support portion (1.1) and a proximal contact portion (1.3) adjoined thereto in the longitudinal direction, is better adapted, as an intervertebral implant, to the contours of the lower and upper sides of the vertebrae that are spaced apart by the implant. An upper side (1.6) and a lower side (1.7) of the implant are configured symmetrically relative to a horizontal center plane (L-Q). In particular a height of the support portion between the transition (U) thereof to the contact portion (1.3) and a distal end face (1.2) facing away from the contact portion (1.3) are greater than the height at the transition (U) and at the distal end face (1.2).

An actuating tube is axially movable in the guide tube and is connected to the pivoting head. The actuating tube causes a pivoting movement of the pivoting head via a proximal operating element. In the device, in order to orient a distal guide element for a rotatable surgical tool more precisely and thus angularly orient the working head of such a tool, the operating element is pivotable about the longitudinal axis and causes the pivoting movement of the pivoting head by the axial displacement of the actuating tube.

    摘要: In an intervertebral implant having at least two upper and two lower contact bodies that have contact surfaces. An actuator has a threaded body which has an extension axis and is provided with opposite-handed threads arranged one behind the other. Wedges sit on the threaded body in an axially moveable manner and can be moved along the threaded body by rotating the same. Ramps of at least one ramp body of a wedge engage at least with counter-surfaces of at least some of the contact bodies and extend toward one another at a finite angle of less than 90°. The wedges are double wedges having two ramp bodies arranged one behind the other, and the ramps of one ramp body are oriented differently to the ramps of the other ramp body. The ramps of the first ramp body engage directly with the contact bodies laterally.

    摘要: An automatic detection of surgical instruments with respect to a type and a location thereof is provided with a detection system, which includes at least two surgical instruments, which each include at least one cavity extending along a longitudinal axis of the instrument and a proximal entry region to the cavity. An angle of the proximal entry region in relation to the longitudinal extension of the cavity is different in the two instruments. A sensor unit includes two electromagnetic sensors and is insertable into the cavity. One of the sensors extends axially in the cavity, and the other sensor is arranged in the entry region. A field generator generates an electromagnetic field. A kit is further provided for spine surgery with at least one guide sleeve of the above-mentioned type and a dilator, having an outer contour that is adapted to the contour of the lumen of the guide sleeve. A kit for spine surgery is further provided including a guide sleeve and an interbody cage, which is to be inserted through this guide sleeve. The lumen of the guide sleeve is adapted to a maximum cross-sectional contour of the interbody cage.
