Each of the container sections includes a frame section and a housing section of foam plastic mounted on the frame section. A hinge couples the frame sections together for hinged movement between a closed position and an open position. A thermal pack is mounted within the container. A latch releasably holds the container sections in the closed position, and a handle is coupled to the frame sections to facilitate carrying of the insulated container.
