Abstract: Cold cathode gas lasers where the cathode of the circuit exciting the discharge, is an aluminium tube which forms an integral part of the sealed envelope of the laser.Such a structure can be used in lasers whether coaxial or otherwise. It makes it possible to improve their performance characteristics and to reduce their cost.
