Abstract:
The invention relates to an endodontic instrument used for working on a canal in a tooth, having a base from which an active portion for working on the canal extends longitudinally, characterized in that said active portion has at least one slot extending longitudinally and forming a passage for fluid.
Abstract:
A dental handpiece (1) includes mechanical components, in particular, a tool-holder assembly for the attachment and for the rotational driving of a dental instrument about a drive axis (6) and an assembly for the transmission of such movement. The mechanical components are mounted in the interior of a body (2) having a head (4) and a handle (3). The mechanical components of the handle and the head of the handpiece are electrically connected by an elastic and electrically conducting connecting device.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for axial retention of a dental instrument shank and for transmitting the rotational driving of the instrument. The device is arranged in a head of a contra-angle or handpiece. The shank has an annular groove in which at least one stud is able to engage radially, and a flat permitting rotational driving of the shank. The rotational movement is communicated by an output pinion of a mechanical transmission assembly coupled to a drive motor and arranged in a sleeve joined to the head of the contra-angle. The device is formed by a shaft traversed axially by the instrument shank, at least one elastic lever, and at least one pin. There is cooperation of the pin or pins with the flat provided on the instrument shank.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for designing and producing a package intended for the protection and/or transportation of a product. All of the digital design steps for the package are integrated in the method for digitizing the product, which includes a step of laminating a virtual key form of the product used to define geometrical data of each layer of the package to be cut. Then, the cutting is carried out followed by the stacking of the layers of the package defined by the design steps for said package to form a real package. The invention also relates to the package obtained by the method.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a contra-angle for implantology or surgery with a head for holding and rotating an instrument about its longitudinal axis, and a handpiece containing, in a non-limiting manner, a connection providing the connection with an external motor drive, and a reducing assembly with an output gear. The contra-angle is formed of removable subassemblies, and principally of a subassembly called the intermediate support, including an input gear meshing with the output gear of the reducing assembly and an end gear mounted on the same rotating shaft and inside a hollow cylindrical body. The intermediate support is mounted so as to slide freely along an axis inside a central part of a head body and enabling positioning in the head and rotational driving of a removable head cartridge, when all the subassemblies are mounted together to form the contra-angle.
Abstract:
A driven appliance, such as a contra-angle handpiece for surgical instruments, in particular for dental surgery, includes a handle, a neck and a head for receiving an instrument. The handle and the neck of the contra-angle handpiece each receive a drive shaft, respectively, an input shaft and an output shaft, which are linked to each other by a gear train. The input shaft and the output shaft are slidingly mounted in their respective bodies, which forms a sheath for the two shafts. The shafts are maintained and supported on stops arranged on the corresponding sheathes through a single elastic element which is housed in the bend linking the handle to the neck.
Abstract:
A canal preparation device comprising a support (1), a treatment instrument (2) equipped with a shank (3), with a contra-angle (4) provided with a head (5), characterized in that the shank (3) of the canal instrument (2) is furnished with a rotational-drive means (6) and in that the head (5) of the contra-angle is provided at its base with a snap-fastening means collaborating with the shank (3) of the rotational-drive means (6) in such a way that, simply by pushing, with the shank (3) of the rotational-drive means (6) engaged in the head, the shank (3) and the head (5) are snap-fastened.

The invention relates to an endodontic instrument used for working on a canal in a tooth, having a base from which an active portion for working on the canal extends longitudinally, characterized in that said active portion has at least one slot extending longitudinally and forming a passage for fluid.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for attaching instruments. The device includes a rotary shaft intended to accept the instrument and rotationally drive it. The device also has at least one peg that can be retracted elastically until it can fit into the latching groove, thus axially retaining the instrument. A catch rotates as one with the rotary shaft and, in combination with the rotary shaft, gives the shape combined with that of the driving flat of the shank of the instrument. There is the particular feature of retracting radially or longitudinally if the flat is correctly orientated and resuming the position in which it rotationally drives the instrument. The flat of the instrument generally adopts the appropriate position when turned as soon as the slightest rotational force is applied to it. The instrument is released by action on a push-button, which moves the peg aside or radially retracts it.
