Abstract:
A cot can include a support frame that extends between a front end and a back end. A front leg and a back leg can be slidingly coupled to the support frame. A front actuator can be coupled to the front leg and slide the front leg to retract and extend the front leg. A back actuator can be coupled to the back leg and slide the back leg to retract and extend the front leg. One or more processors can execute machine readable instructions to receive signals from one or more sensors indicative of the front end of the cot and the front leg. The one or more processors can actuate the back actuator to extend the back leg to raise the back end of the cot, when the front end of the cot is supported by a surface and the front leg is retracted a predetermined amount.
Abstract:
A transportable restaurant structure is provided employing a container structure such as a shipping container. An interior dining area is provided in-between sidewalls of the container as is a kitchen area. Sidewalls on the container are rotationally engaged to fold horizontal and provide adjoining areas to said dining area to increase its size. A door in an endwall is rotatable to provide an inclining ramp for walking or wheelchair access. The container is moveable by truck but once deployed takes on the appearance of a small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a roll-in cot may include a support frame, a pair of front legs, a pair of back legs, and a cot actuation system. The pair of front legs may be slidingly coupled to the support frame. Each front leg includes at least one front wheel. The pair of back legs may be slidingly coupled to the support frame. Each back leg includes at least one back wheel. The cot actuation system includes a front actuator that moves the front legs and a back actuator that moves the back legs. The front actuator and the back actuator raises or lowers the support frame in tandem. The front actuator raises or lowers the front end of the support frame independently of the back actuator. The back actuator raises or lowers the back end of the support frame independently of the front actuator.

According to one embodiment, a roll-in cot may include a support frame, a pair of back legs, a pair of front legs, and a cot actuation system. The pair of back legs and the pair of front legs can be slidingly coupled to the support frame. Each of the pair of front legs can include a front wheel and an intermediate load wheel. The intermediate load wheel is offset from the front wheel by a load wheel distance. A front actuator can raise the pair of front legs such that the front wheel and the intermediate load wheel of each of the pair of front legs are aligned along a loading level. The intermediate load wheel of each of the pair of front legs can be offset from the pair of back legs by a loading span. The load wheel distance can be greater than the loading span.

Abstract:
The sensor arrangement, performance-monitored machine system, and method, utilize radiance of exhaust streams to indicate performance deviation, due to combustion instability or machine malfunction, in propulsion gas turbine engines, augmentors used on such engines, stationary power generating gas turbine engines, and other air-breathing combustion-based turbine machines and systems. Sensor operation is based upon high-speed measurements of radiant emission from the hot exhaust stream, taken at a minimum rate of 2000, and preferably at a rate of at least 8000, samples per second. Select infrared wavelengths of light are used to capture temporal variations in the radiance, which are Fourier analyzed to determine the magnitude and frequency of the combustion instability. The apparatus and method enable detection of incipient combustion instability, combustion system health, power loss, stall, surge, and fuel light-off; information and feedback are available for combustion control, to provide an early warning and diagnosis of a physical and/or mechanical malfunction, and to indicate a need for condition-based maintenance.
