摘要: Context-dependent transactional management of services within a cloud environment for an organization using business rules includes generating a partitioned graph representing the organization and the business rule, where the business rules include one or more separation of duties requirements. Upon receiving an access request from an end user of the cloud service, a determination is made if the access request to the cloud service violates any of the one or more separation of duties requirements. Based on determining that the access request to the cloud service does not violate any of the one or more separation of duties requirements, transaction with the cloud service is granted to the end user. Based on determining that the access request to the cloud service violates one of the one or more separation of duties requirements, access to the cloud service is denied to the end user.

摘要: Methods, including service methods, articles of manufacture, systems, articles and programmable devices are provided for linking and utilizing monetary and carbon credit accounts through a programmable arbitrating device providing a transaction interface to the buyer. A composite price is set for an item having a monetary portion and a carbon credit portion, a buyer executing a purchase of the item through an input to the arbitrating device transaction interface, the arbitrating device automatically charging a monetary payments from the buyer's monetary account, carbon credit payments from the buyer's carbon credit account, a difference between the payments and the composite price debited to the buyer's carbon credit account balance for a monetary value of the difference as a function of a monetary-carbon exchange rate, or to the buyer's monetary account for a carbon credit value of the difference as a function of the monetary-carbon exchange rate.

摘要: An acoustic monitoring system includes a portable acoustic detection device, a sound analysis device and a confidence level device. The portable acoustic detection device is capable of receiving sound at one or more locations near a sound-producing device. The sound analysis device receives the sound from the portable sound detection device, determines a diagnosis based on a comparison between the sound and pre-recorded sound data, and outputs the diagnosis to the portable acoustic detection device. The sound analysis device also determines a corrective action for inhibiting the sound, which is also output to the portable sound detection device. The confidence level device determines a confidence level of the diagnosis indicating a likelihood that the diagnosis is successfully diagnosed.

摘要: A system and an article of manufacture for providing a prompt for real-time cognitive assistance include analyzing input from at least one environmental sensor to identify context information pertaining to a user situation, identifying a likely subsequent cognitive task of the user in the user situation based on the context information and use of a learned model, determining an action with respect to information to be suggested to the user via a corresponding prompt, wherein the determining is based on the likely subsequent cognitive task, the context information and information learned from at least to one previous user situation, computing a confidence value to represent a level of certainty in the action, and providing the prompt to the user if the action has a confidence value greater than a threshold value corresponding to the action.

摘要: Embodiments are directed to generating a graph comprising a plurality of nodes relevant to a securitization of a first of the nodes, the graph representing relationships from which the first node's value and risk are calculated, assigning a weight to each of relationships among the plurality of nodes, and generating a graph partition by retaining the nodes of the graph coupled to the first node that have a weight greater than a threshold.
