In some, but not necessarily all embodiments, the interface ports may include both a plurality of communications ports and one or more data line ports. Also, the MPU module may include a watchdog module configured to present an interface that monitors specified tasks and takes action when any of the specified tasks time out.

    摘要: A video surveillance camera enclosure that includes a camera housing for receiving a video surveillance camera chassis through a lower end. In one embodiment, the housing is adapted to be inserted into an opening in a ceiling member and includes a flange near the lower end and a plurality of mounting clamps for engaging the perimeter of an opening in the ceiling. The video surveillance camera chassis includes a plurality of positioning members on the perimeter of the chassis. The positioning members are engageable with a plurality of alignment flanges on the interior of the housing to guide the chassis into a preselected position within the housing. Final insertion of the chassis into the housing and electrical connection via blind mating connectors is by threaded fasteners on the positioning members and flanges. In an alternate embodiment, the housing is installed in an enclosure that is not installed in a ceiling but is self-contained and can be located outdoors. In the outdoor installation, a heater and fan assembly can be connected to the chassis. Selection of an address for installation of the camera can be accomplished without the need to disassemble the dome assembly. LEDs can be viewed from below the camera chassis for installation and service.

    摘要: A controller for a video surveillance camera enclosure including a method and apparatus for controlling a stepper motor by decoding a command for a specific camera action, setting the state of a state machine, and instructing a position control process and a speed control process based upon the state of the state machine. A drive signal is send from said position control process to a motor current process and a phase control process to generate the current and phase signals to control the stepper motor. The stepper motor drive current is preferably a non-linear current. The speed control signal includes ramp up and ramp down speed control for gradually increasing motor speed and gradually decreasing motor speed, respectively. Another aspect of the invention detects a plurality of pan and/or tilt positions to reset the pan and/or tilt motor step count to a known count associated with a known location without the need to pan and/or tilt past a preselected home position. Another aspect controls a dome enclosure heater to operate over two different thermostat ranges to provide for manual de-fogging of the dome bubble.

    摘要: An apparatus for detecting the properly terminated connection between video components transmitting a video signal from one video component to the other. The video and/or data signal is input to a resistance element. A first comparison input device is connected to the input side of the resistance element and a second comparison input device is connected to the output side of the resistance element. A comparison unit is provided for comparing the voltages from the first comparison input device and the second comparison input device to determine whether there is a voltage drop across the resistance element thereby determining whether the video component is properly terminated. A data processing element connected to the output of the comparison unit receives data from the comparison unit which is detected across the resistance element.

    摘要: An input/output processing module utilized for processing of signaling information and arranged in a central control unit of a local central office of a digital telecommunications system. Each central office further includes a central switching network and a plurality of trunks dedicated to common channel signaling each locally associated with a signaling link controller unit. Within the processing module, a microprocessor system is provided for initiating, starting and controlled resetting of transfers of signaling information under supervision of the central control unit. The signaling link controllers utilized for common channel signaling are residing on a separate signaling link bus. A signaling link bus control arrangement is connected to both the microprocessor system and the signaling link bus and includes programmable control means for sequentially executing transfer operations of signaling information. Interface means are independently accessible by both the microprocessor system and the control means of the signaling link bus control arrangement for enabling bi-directional data transfers between the microprocessor system and the bus control arrangement.
