    摘要: An optical image stabilizer for use in a camera to compensate for an unwanted movement of camera, wherein two bending actuators are used to shift a lens element or the image sensor in different directions in a plane so as to shift a projected image on the image sensor in response to the unwanted camera movement. The plane is substantially perpendicular to the optical axis of camera, and longitudinal axis of each bending actuator is substantially parallel to the optical axis. The actuator can be fixedly mounted on one end so that the other end is allowed to bend. The actuator can be fixedly mounted on both ends so that the middle section is allowed to bend. Alternatively, the middle section is fixedly mounted and both ends can be used for shifting an imaging component.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for an imaging capable mobile terminal for close-up imaging is presented. An imaging lens arrangement has a first focal length in one direction and a second focal length in a second direction where the second focal length is shorter than the first focal length using an optical component such as a close-up lens or close-up lens and reflector which shortens the focal length of the lens arrangement. The close-up lens is mounted in a fixed position in the mobile terminal case and a rotatable camera assembly rotates a main camera lens into position behind the close-up lens so that the focal point of an object to be imaged can only converge at a point for close-up imaging.

    摘要: A digital camera is constructed with multiple lenses mounted in a pair of tubular elements which are nested together for relative axial movement. Movement is provided by piezoelectric actuators mounted externally to a support tube on flexible printed circuit board elements. Each lens tube is provided with a drive rail which extends at least partially over the length of the lens tube and projects radially outward from the periphery of each of the tubes. The rails are accessible to the engagement pads of the piezoelectric actuators to allow the transmission of drive forces to each of the tubes.

The support comprises multiple tubes, mounted for relative coaxial movement, which support a lens element. At least one of the tubes is adjustable in position relative to a main support tube. The adjustable tube is engageable by piezoelectric elements. Each piezoelectrical element is mounted to a flexible printed circuit board which contains the camera operating system and is mounted on the support tube.

    摘要: In a camera where the lens or image sensor is laterally moved in a carrier to shift the image for compensating for unwanted camera movement, a reflection surface is used to reflect light, and a photo-emitter/sensor pair is used to illuminate the reflection surface and to detect reflected light therefrom. Reflection surface is provided near the edge of one carrier section e and photo-emitter/sensor pair is disposed on another carrier section. These sections are movable relative to each other for imaging shifting purposes. The photo-emitter/sensor pair is positioned such that the light cone emitted by the photo-emitter partly hits the V reflection surface and partly falls beyond the edge. As the photo-emitter/sensor pair and the reflection surface move relative to each other, the area on the reflection surface illuminated by the photo-emitter changes causing a change in the amount of detected light.

    摘要: An optical image stabilizer is used to compensate for an unwanted movement of an imaging system, such as a camera. The camera has a folded optics system using a triangular prism to fold the optical axis. Two actuators are used to rotate the prism around two axes in order to compensate for the yaw motion and pitch motion of the camera. The prism can be mounted on a gimballed system or joint and two actuators are operatively connected to the gimballed system in order to rotate the prism. Alternatively, the folded optics system uses a mirror to fold the optical axis, and two motors are used to rotate the prism.
