In one embodiment, a method includes generating a customer service hierarchy including customer service levels, each customer service level having associated demands, determining if the demands of an initial customer service level in the customer service hierarchy are met, upon a determination that the demands of the initial customer service level are met, determining if the demands of the initial customer service level are exceeded, and for each successor customer service level in the customer service hierarchy, determining if the demands of a predecessor customer service level in the customer service hierarchy continue to be exceeded, upon a determination that the demands of the predecessor customer service level continue to be exceeded, determining if the demands of a successor customer service level in the customer service hierarchy are met.

A method for integrating airplane operation related services provided by ground-based systems is described. The method includes receiving information from a plurality of airplane service functions, the airplane service functions including airlines, airplanes, regulatory authorities, maintenance repair organizations, and aircraft manufacturers, the received information relating to airplane operation. The method further includes determining which of the received airplane operation information is applicable to each of the airplane service functions, and distributing the applicable airplane operation information to each of the airplane service functions.

An independent server is established to track the state of content being rendered on a client device. A content server (alternatively referred to as an application server) maintains a backchannel with the independent server and updates session state. When migrating content from a first client device to a second client device, the second client device will access the server prior to rendering the content. Upon accessing the server, the second client device will be provided with the state of the current session.
Abstract:
A method and a system for live broadcast of digital content to a user switching between one or more electronic devices are provided. Each electronic device is connected to a network. The user makes a request to switch the live broadcast of the digital content from a first electronic device to one or more electronic devices in the network. The live broadcast of the digital content on the first electronic device is suspended based on the request from the user. The first electronic device informs at least one electronic device in the network to pre-emptively store the live broadcast of the digital content. The live broadcast of the digital content is then resumed on the one or more electronic devices, based on another request from the user.
